Franklin Clinton is a black resident of Los Santos who was born in a typical ghetto in the south of the city. He grew up in adverse conditions: he did not have a family or a full house, he did not go to school and, accordingly, did not receive any education. He earned his living by being a member of a teenage gang, hooligan, and the drug trade brought him the most income. It was on it that he grew up until he was caught during one of the deals. All the evidence was against him, there was no one to defend him, so Franklin was in prison. There he served his term and was released just before the start of events unfolding in the game. Franklin decided to leave his ghetto, and if he risked his life and freedom, then in a big way. Therefore, he moved into the world of gangsters. Naturally, he was tormented by doubts, and more than once he wanted to return to a relatively calm and harmless robbery in the ghetto, but the criminal world offered much greater opportunities, so Franklin Clinton decided to move on.
Who has Franklin become?
After leaving prison, Franklin Clinton, whose photo was hung for a long time across the southern part of the city as a warning to other teenagers, decided not to return to the ghetto, but to go up a notch. He became a professional robber and hijacker, which allowed him to earn a good living, but such work did not give prospects. However, Franklin was lucky because he was noticed by Armenian Simon Etaryan, the owner of a car salon. Naturally, the salon was not easy, and Simon was a petty gangster who offered Franklin a job. What was the essence of this work, and of the entire cabin as a whole? Simon acted as a generous seller who could help a person out and sell him a car very urgently and quietly, but at high interest rates. If payments followed on time, then everything ended well, and Franklin could not strain. However, most often people did not want to pay big money, so they tried to hide from payment - then Franklin appeared, whose task was to return the unpaid car, and not in the same sweet and pleasant way that Simon acted during the sale. Franklin was allowed to use force - such behavior was even encouraged. Accordingly, the more Franklin intimidated the debtor, the better. It is in this role that the player becomes known to the character Franklin Clinton. GTA 5, however, will not let him cool down at the bottom of the gangster career ladder, throwing him into the cycle of events.
Unpleasant turn
Now you see how interesting the character is Franklin Clinton. His biography is incredibly exciting, but the events of the game will be even more exciting. Especially since Franklin and Lamar, his partner in debt recovery, were in an unpleasant situation. They had to shoot with a large number of bandits just because of an unpaid motorcycle. Lamar decides that he wants to get out of business, steals a motorcycle and leaves, exposing Franklin to Simon's hot hand. It is then that it becomes clear that the stable existence of Franklin in his hypostasis comes to an end, and it remains only to wait for a suitable catalyst. And this happens already during the development of the GTA 5 storyline - Franklin Clinton finds himself in an even more difficult situation.
Meeting with Michael
A turning point happens when Franklin sets off for another business - he needs to steal a car for which he has not been paid for from the garage in the house of de Santa. Franklin copes with the task perfectly, but does not notice that in the back seat is sleeping a man who is the father of the owner of the car, and his name is Michael. When Franklin was already approaching Simon’s car dealership, Michael suddenly put a gun to his head and demanded to ram the car showcase. Franklin had to obey, after which Michael gave him money for his work and ordered him to fail, and then he started beating Simon. As a result, Franklin was left without work.
Meet Michael
Franklin had nowhere to go, but he realized that Michael was his chance for a happy future in the criminal world. Therefore, he again turned to the house with a request that Michael lead him into the criminal world. Michael refused, but did not resist having a couple of beers in a bar with a new acquaintance. It would seem that the chance was missed, but on the way to the bar Michael's phone rang. It turned out that his friend was on a yacht that Franklin planned to sell. People who pretended to be buyers stole a yacht - as it turned out, along with Michael's friend. In the end, Franklin received an invitation from Michael to join him to return the property - something that Franklin did best.
Plot plot
At this moment, the plot begins for the whole game - Franklin and Michael save Jimmy in a hard skirmish, but the truck with the yacht is hiding in an unknown direction. New friends say goodbye, but they still have to meet again in the future.
