Carol Tiggs is a unique nagual woman from Carlos Castaneda's squad. Her disappearance shortly after the death of Carlos Castaneda in 1998 shocked many. However, she unexpectedly returned and took office as president of Castaneda Corporation.
Biography
Real name is Kathleen Adair Polman. The girl was born on November 24, 1947 at 6:32 a.m. in the Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. She is the first child born to Harriet Whitbeck Polman and Max Edward Polman. Below is a photo of Carol Tiggs.
Carol is one of three women in the inner circle of Carlos Castaneda, whom he called the “Witches” and were disciples of don Juan. Carol is said to be a Nagual woman, an important figure in Castaneda's books. Carol Tiggs first appeared in The Eagle's Gift, published in 1981.
It is unclear when Carol first met Castaneda, but on October 3, 1972 in the role of Kathleen Adair Polman, she submitted documents to change her name to Elizabeth Austin.
It is worth noting that all the women involved in Castaneda officially changed their name at least once.
Meet Don Juan
According to lecture notes recorded in April 1995, Carol Tiggs allegedly first encountered Don Juan in Mexico City at the end of 1966 or in 1967 at the age of 19. This entry is different from the one given in Castaneda’s book, The Gift of the Eagle. In 1973, Carol left with Don Juan or soon after (events vary depending on which book to read, The Gift of the Eagle or The Art of Dreaming).
Castaneda
The highest level of the Castaneda clan is he and his four women - Carol Tiggs, Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelard and Nuri Alexander. This is followed by women teaching Tensegrity at seminars and through videos. The following are men who are also Tensegrity instructors and just members of Cleargreen Corporation.
Richard Jennings, who was invited to Castaneda's private Sunday sessions and actively participated in the association, believes that the group of close associates of Castaneda in the late 1970s numbered less than two dozen people. The key event at the time was reportedly the removal of Carol Tiggs. Shortly after joining the group, she tried to break away. She studied at the California College of Acupuncture, married a classmate.
Carol was reunited with Castaneda, most likely in the fall of 1985 at a lecture at the Bookstore in Santa Monica. On April 5, 1988, Carol Tiggs again applied for a name change, this time changing it to Muni Alexander. The change officially entered into force on May 20, 1988.
In 1993, HarperCollins published Castaneda's book, The Art of Dreams. The Nagual woman played an important role in this work. According to reports, she rescues Castaneda from the "misty, yellowish world", where he allegedly went to rescue the Blue Scout, nicknamed Patricia Partin.
On September 29, 1993, Carlos Aranya married Carol Mooney Tiggs Alexander in Las Vegas. The marriage certificate states that this is Carol's first marriage. But the data indicated in the document do not correspond to the primary data in her biography. Carol indicated that she was born November 24, 1957 in Arizona, and her parents are John Michael Alexander and Carol Tiggs.
Death
On April 27, 1998, the death certificate of Carlos Castaneda was signed. It is reported that his death occurred at 3 a.m. The death was kept secret until June 19, 1998, when the Los Angeles Times obituary reporting the death of Castaneda appeared on the front page. The next day, an obituary in the New York Times reported that Castaneda's adopted son was responsible for the death of his stepfather to the public. On August 2, 1998, Carol spoke at a workshop in Ontario. Since then, the girl has not been seen in public.
Many, reading the books of Castaneda, did not even know that he had not been with us for a long time. There is a death certificate stating that he died from liver cancer. After his death, women from his group stopped appearing at the seminars he founded: Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelard, and the nagual woman Carol Tiggs.
In earlier editions, these names were not mentioned. The Castaneda group originally included seven Indians - three guys and four girls. But later editions mention new women. At first it was a nagual woman, after Taisha and Florinda.
It is impossible not to say that, in the early nineties, Taisha and Florinda's books were published, but they did not focus on the connection with Castaneda, except for attending seminars held in America, however, training from Don Juan was described.
Name change
Getting to the truth is almost impossible. Clan Castaneda is characterized by a frequent change of names and many marriages. This, most likely, was done on purpose to confuse the story and erase the authentic data. For example, it still remains a mystery in which year Castaneda was born - in 1925, 1926, 1931 or 1946.
Many believe that Castaneda Cleargreen's company was created primarily to receive a large amount of money, and not to convey the magical knowledge that Carol Tiggs presented. By the way, it was with her appearance that the company was formed. At the same time, Taisha and Florinda's books became popular.
Interesting data
Since 1996, Carlos and his women began to talk about leaving, which should happen in the near future. A few days before the death of Castaneda, he was rewriting the will. He gives all his money to the Eagle Foundation, which he created the day before. The will specifically stipulates that money will be paid only to those who survive this deplorable event. As a result, a few days before the "death" from the house of Castaneda, something is taken away by vans, and then a certificate of his death appears.
At the same time, Taisha and Florinda disappear at the same time, and Carol and Nuri - a little later. It is not known whether this was a real death or a transition to another world in accordance with the idea of Don Juan. Nobody saw the body of Castaneda, except for the person who wrote the conclusion about the death, of course. However, many believe that the certificate is a fake, since it was written in Mexico, where you can draw up almost any document for a certain amount of money. But this is just an argument. The assumption that we have yet to see the return of Cascaneda should not be ruled out.
In 2010, it became known that Carol Tiggs was back. She took over as president of Cleargreen Corporation. In 2015, rumors appeared that Carol Tiggs was moving to Russia.
