Assumption Eduard Nikolaevich - one of the most popular children's writers in the post-Soviet space. Not one generation of children grew up reading books written by him.
The childhood and youthful years of the Assumption
The future writer was born in 1937 in the small town of Yegoryevsk, which is located in the Moscow region. His parents were educated people, had an engineering education. Edward is not the only child in the family, the boy had an older brother Igor, and later Yuri was born. After the outbreak of the war, young Edward, along with his mother and brothers, was evacuated. Until 1944, the family lived in the Urals.
Returning to Moscow, the future writer went to school, but did not study very well. Only in the seventh grade did he begin to make progress in his studies; he was best given mathematics. An important role in the fascination of reading by Edward was played by stepfather Nikolai Stepanovich Pronsky, who had a huge library, carefully kept books and forbade them to exchange them for food.
The first experiments in versification date back to the time when the young Uspensky studied in the ninth grade. At that time, writing was a fashionable hobby. Ouspensky’s poetic works were published in literary newspapers and sounded from radio sets. An important role in the development of Ouspensky as a writer of children's books was played by the experience of working in camps as a pioneer leader.
Adult Assumption
Having become a student at the Moscow Aviation Institute, Eduard Uspensky continued to engage in literary activities. After graduating from a higher educational institution in 1961, he went to work at the plant in his specialty. Together with G. Gorin, A. Arkanov and F. Kamov, the writer took part in the creation of the book “Four under one cover”, which quickly became popular. Thanks to this, Eduard Uspensky and Felix Kamov organized the student theater "TV". The success was tremendous.
Later, the writer became the founder of the programs "Good night, kids", "ABVGDeyka", "Baby Monitor", "Ships entered our harbor." For his creative work, he was awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" IV degree.
Eduard Uspensky was married three times. From his first marriage, he has a daughter, Tatyana, from his second brother, his daughters, Irina and Svetlana. The third marriage with Eleanor Filin broke up in 2011, the couple did not have children.
Creative activity of the writer
The year 1965 was marked by the release of a collection of poems by Eduard Uspensky, “Everything is in order,” which immediately received recognition from readers. However, the most famous works of Ouspensky are books for a children's audience. Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka, Uncle Fedor, Matroskin and Sharik, postman Pechkin - there is hardly a child who does not know these characters. It was thanks to Uspensky that the children's animated series “Fixics” was born, which modern young viewers love so much. It is based on the novel of Assumption “Warranty Men”, which was born in 1974.
Children's writer Uspensky
Cheburashka is one of the most famous heroes created by this author. Together with his friends - a crocodile Gena, a doll Galya, a dvoechnik Dima, an excellent pupil Marusya - he opened the House of Friendship. This event formed the basis of the story " Crocodile Gene and his friends." This work was written in a prosaic form, before that Ouspensky wrote poetry texts. The characters of the writer were so fond of the audience that several more stories, novels and plays were released from his pen, in which new exciting adventures awaited friends.
In 2012, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science included the first story about the adventures of the crocodile Gena and Cheburashka in the list of one hundred books that are recommended to middle-aged students for independent reading.
A cycle of tales of Uncle Fedor
For many years, Ouspensky’s works about a boy named Uncle Fyodor and his friends - animals: a cat nicknamed Matroskin and a dog named Sharik have enjoyed great success among readers. The first story from this cycle was published in 1974. In total, the cycle included seven books. Ouspensky's tales were so popular that they formed the basis of animated films. Between 1975 and 2011, five cartoons were featured on television screens telling about the adventures of smart boy Uncle Fyodor and his talking friends - animals.
The last was the cartoon "Spring in Prostokvashino." Matroskin and Sharik receive a letter from Uncle Fedor, in which the boy says that he will arrive soon. His parents will follow. However, the old house is too small to accommodate all guests. And then Uncle Fedor turns to one construction company for help, which quickly built a modern cottage.
The audience met the cartoon ambiguously. Viewers criticized the drawing, which is very different from the original. The plot and hidden advertising "Mile.ru" also caused a lot of discontent.
The Adventures of Faith and Anfisa
Ouspensky’s works about the little girl Vera, her parents and the monkey Monkey Anfisa also have many fans. The author describes the life of this wonderful family in a fun and exciting way.
