And on this day a rich goat came to the cat’s workshop, who wanted to get a beautiful hat. Skornyak showed him the whole assortment on the counter, but the rich man did not like any goods. Suddenly a goat saw a dog's hat. She liked him, and the rich man wanted to buy this particular hat. The cat began to rest, but the goat offered him an amount several times higher than the true price of the hat. The furrier was greedy by nature and therefore, taking the money, he gave the cap to the rich man. The next day, the dog came and asked the cat about her. He said that the hat is not ready yet. The dog became furious and attacked the furrier, calling him a rogue and a thief, but they forced him out of the workshop. On the street, a poor shepherd saw a goat pacing in a hat made from the skin of his sheep, and mated to it. But here he was received far from hospitable. Since then, the cat and the dog, and then their descendants do not get along with each other. That is why dogs do not like cats in terms of folklore.

Kitty can be peacefully tuned, but the dog is not always ready to be friends. This situation happens if the dog has ever been offended by a cat (for example, scratched its paw in the face), and the sight of any feline representative evokes unpleasant memories and, it would seem, already abated pain.
