In the gaming industry, cruelty is almost always a decisive factor. She, like a magnet, attracts players. After all, cruelty is a reality. Many generally believe that if the game lacks blood and violence, then it is meaningless.
So, what are they - the most cruel and bloody games of the decade? We will make a rating of the five most-most.
Fifth place
The legendary Fallout series opens our top of the most brutal games. The creators of the project always did not care about censors - every hit in the groin is accompanied by unprintable comments, every shot in the head carries the skull to pieces scattering throughout the district, the line of the machine makes the sieve out of the enemies and unpleasantly exposes the meat.
In the third part of the series - Fallout 3 - everything is as it should be: blood gushing fountains, tearing enemies apart, arms and legs fly in different directions (it is very easy to lose them here). And with 3D, the game has gained even more entertainment. A true paradise for lovers of cruelty. It is not surprising that even before its release, the game gathered a huge number of negative reviews and was banned in many countries (Australia, Germany and others).
Fourth place
In fourth place is a shooter called DeadSpace. At the beginning of the game, everything looks so quiet, peaceful ... I just can’t believe that for someone it’s the most cruel game. The clean and deserted corridors of the Ishimura spaceship, mesmerizing space (when you look at the windows) ... Everything is so calm ... until the first necromorphs appear. And here the picture changes dramatically: bloody porridge on the walls, limbs of alien creatures flying in different directions, disfigured corpses, juicy blood whipping and scraps of flesh.
So a simple engineer, Isaac Clark, is having fun, cutting out a monster swarming with a spaceship. And since he does not have military weapons, the fights are quite intense.
Dead Space received the title of Mature. The game, thanks to an interesting idea, fully met the expectations of the developers and came close enough to the title "The most cruel game in the world."
Third place
Well, where is today without zombies! They filled the screens of movie theaters and monitors. Zombies are a great consumable item that is used in almost any game. That's only in the Left 4 Dead shooter it was done very well. The army of the dead goes to the underworld very quickly, splashing blood and dumping its intestines on the asphalt. Zombies are everywhere: they run around the players, gaining a dark unpleasant tan, obtained from a randomly launched Molotov cocktail in the crowd, and get a butt in the jaw. Or vice versa - torn to shreds of poor survivors. Moreover, everything has been done so realistically that you can consider how the muscles of the torn victims fall.
Still, in Left 4 Dead, blood is not the point. The highlight of the shooter is a team game. Ready-made microphones, sophisticated tactics, clear commands - passing levels as if by notes. In this case, the game will bring you a lot of pleasure.
Second place
Despite the fact that a real scandal flared up around the first part and additions to the Postal game series, the developers still released a sequel. And even more perverse and sadistic than the previous ones.
There is a killer maniac, there is a city filled with celebrities, terrorists and perverts. And a whole mountain of device! The rest is in your hands. You can just shoot the unwanted, or you can realize your craziest fantasies: cut with scissors, spread on the walls with a bazooka, set fire, blow your head with a shovel, etc. Do whatever you want! And no one will even stop you, on the contrary, the developers will throw the idea of “washing the insides of the victims” or something like that. And if you recall the "cat in the role of a silencer" ...
Postal 2 is a simulator of a sadist who built his own Paradise.
Postal is the meaningless, unceremonious and most cruel game of recent years. Outraged truth-seekers, disgruntled censors and players, enthusiastically telling how on the weekend they “cut a whole family with scissors for barbecue” ... And yet, Postal 2 takes only the second place. Who is the first?
First place
The cruelest game is Prototype and its sequel. Despite the fact that the project is still quite “young”, he has already gathered a lot of fans and managed to surprise him with his cruelty and lawlessness.
Prototype is a real bloodbath. Your hero is a mutated Alex Mercer. You will create lawlessness in the streets of Manhattan: throw cars at passers-by, crush mutants on a tank, cut everyone they meet with your claws under the crunch of bones, like Wolverine. In general, blood will flow like a river, and the main character will laugh furiously and leave the limp parts of the city’s bodies in its path. Not everyone can withstand such shots. But if the game is all the same for you, then forget all the nonsense on the topic of “reputation”, “philanthropy” and do your dirty deed, because no one can punish you!
