Today we will tell you about how to make a frog out of paper. There are several ways to make this animal using the origami technique. Different options for how to make a frog out of paper differ in the results (appearance and properties of the craft). For example, in origami, static and moving models are distinguished. In our lesson today, we will consider the second option on how to make a frog out of paper. Our design will have an interesting property - the ability to jump. Moreover, at a very substantial distance.

For those who don’t know or don’t remember what origami is, we hasten to inform you that this term refers to Japanese art that describes how to make paper crafts. “Ori” means “folding,” and “kami” means “paper.” In general, origami is the art of creating models from the material voiced above, without the use of glue and scissors (they may be needed only at the initial stage, since standard sheets have a rectangular shape, and most of the crafts are made on the basis of a square).
So we need only paper, hands and patience to work. Take an A4 sheet of the color that our future jumper should have. We preferred green, the most common among these amphibians, but this does not mean that you should do the same. We will leave the question of coloring at your discretion. So, we will describe the process itself of how to make a frog out of paper.
Take a standard A4 sheet.
And make a square out of it. Fold the paper as shown in the picture.
And cut off the part that remains superfluous. Here is what should happen.
Now add the square along the second diagonal.
And deploy again.
Next, double-fold the sheet in half. First, we press the top face to the bottom, iron the bend. We wrap and do the same with the two remaining sides. You should have a figure with these folds.
Now we begin to fold the square again along the diagonal line, but not to the end, but only to the midpoint of the line.
And now we are doing the same on the other side. Add up to half the second diagonal.
Now we press on the formed valve.
That's what we should end up with.
Now we take one of the corners of the resulting double triangle.
And we press it to the top of the figure.
We are doing similar work on the other hand.
Now we press the working angle to the bottom as shown in the photo.
Similarly, on the other hand.
Now turn over the work.
And bend the corner as shown in the photo.
Now on the other hand.
There is very little left. We make paws.
Repeat the action on the other hand.
Now bend the structure forward.
We step back a bit and return the legs to their original position.
The work is ready.
When you click on the "ass" our frog will jump.
If desired, you can add eyes, paint the back or do other decorative work. In general, the model can be considered complete. We hope that all the steps were easy for you and did not cause difficulties. Now you know one of the ways to make a frog out of paper.
