Wood features
American walnut is not afraid of temperature changes, moisture, does not warp, does not form cracks. This material is easily processed: it is ground, cycled, glued, varnished, polished. The density of products made from it is 600-650 kg per 1 m 3 and the hardness is 5 kg per 1 m 3 . Floor coverings from this type of wood create an expensive unique interior.
Solid board
A solid board, which has grooves on four sides and clear dimensions, is called massive. It differs in its large dimensions. Its dimensions are different: length 0.5-3 m, width 10-20 cm, thickness 18-22 mm.
From such wood as American walnut, a massive board is produced in three grades - select, natur and country. They differ among themselves by the type of pattern, the number and size of knots. The variety "Select" includes selected homogeneous texture of the board without cracks and defects. Small knots may be present in it. In the category "Natur" sapwood and foreign inclusions are possible. The diameter of the knots on the board should not exceed 4 mm. Compared to the Select, it looks darker, more natural. The most natural look is the Country category boards, in which there are many different diameters of knots, cracks, sapwood and other defects.

A two-layer parquet board is connected by the groove-comb method. Its laying on heated floors is not recommended.
A three-layer parquet board can be installed indoors using a floating method that does not require the use of glue, nails or staples. Its installation must be done on a substrate. Made from a material such as American walnut, the board is laid on a prepared base. As a basis, moisture-resistant plywood is used, the sheets of which are laid in such a way that the seams do not match. Subject to all installation rules, parquet will last up to 35 years.
Laminate
Laminate "American Walnut" belongs to the 33rd class of wear resistance. Technical characteristics allow laying it in individual houses, as well as in public buildings. Laminate "American Walnut", the color of which can be gray-brown or dark brown, is very similar to a massive board.
The service life of this floor covering (at high load) is six years, and at a lower intensity it will last much longer. Laminated panels are durable, not afraid of mechanical damage, resistant to aggressive environments.
How to laminate
Each panel has V-shaped chamfers, which can be either the same color as the surface of the board, or more contrasting. The bevels on the laminate are covered with a protective layer. The flooring is connected with Wax-Stop locks. In production, they are impregnated with wax, which prevents the swelling of the laminate. This type of flooring is not used for laying warm floors, since wax melts when heated.
The panels are joined with locks that simply snap in without glue. Lamellas are laid on a flat and clean base covered with cork or another substrate similar in properties. The laminated board is stacked with a different shift in each row.
