For these purposes, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, PVC, silicone and a number of other synthetic materials are used. Polypropylene ventilation structures are waterproof, wear-resistant, resistant to aggressive chemical environments, to ultraviolet radiation. Have a lifespan of 50 years. Withstands the temperature range from -40 to + 85 ° C. But for kitchens, plastic PVC ducts are better suited. PVC is a very versatile material and has the best plastic properties. It is distinguished from other materials by its long service life - up to 100 years, and high hygiene.
