High-quality, but not expensive filler - sliver . This is peeled sheep wool. A huge minus is that it is sold in rolls. Acquiring it to make one toy is unprofitable. Buy a sliver if you want to start producing expensive and high-quality products on stream.
Working with sliver is not easy. First you need to fluff the material. You need to fill the toy slowly, gently pushing the filler with a stick. Do not wash the product. Can be dry cleaned or frozen for disinfection in the freezer. You can put the toy in a bag with soda, shake it well, remove the product and vacuum it.
Herbs. If you want to sew a toy for sleeping, then a grass filler will be a great choice. You can collect them yourself or buy in a pharmacy.
Synthetic fillers
Sintepuh. With this filler you can achieve a perfectly flat surface. It is very light and soft. The material was invented specifically for stuffing toys, so it has practically no drawbacks, and it's easy to work with.
