The next step is how to make a cap out of cardboard (this is the type of material we will use) - cut out a strip of the appropriate length plus 1 centimeter for gluing from it. By the diameter of the finished ring, only increasing it by 3 centimeters, cut out the bottom of the visor. Make cuts on it at the same distance from each other. Gently bend them inward. Of the auxiliary materials you will need: a five-liter bottle made of plastic (empty, of course), a small flap of fabric (black, dark brown, blue or burgundy, most importantly bright) about 65 by 35 cm. A strip of satin or silk of the same color, centimeters wide 7. Still white material (55 by 105 cm), dense fabric pad of the same size. Gold paper or brocade for decoration. And a tube of PVA glue.
Procedure
The first thing you need to do is again take the
size of the child’s head. Cut a straight strip no wider than 7 cm from the bottle by its diameter. Again, use the stapler to connect the ends, and put the resulting ring on to your son and measure this diameter so that your forehead is not squeezed and so that the future visor does not slip too deep. Cut the excess, leaving only 1 cm to reconnect the edges of the strip. After measuring its length, calculate the inner and outer radii for the pattern of the bottom of the cap. To do this, remember the school years and the formula. The radius is internal: R = L: 2π, where the number of pi is 3.14. Calculate the outer radius as follows: inner + 7 centimeters. Next, make patterns. You should get a little box (on a strip of a bottle). Make it from dark fabric, wrap plastic, fasten. Then the tulle: it is cut out of white material, leaving allowances for the seams. Insert the gasket, cut another circle, glue. Well, the bottom: also white fabric, leave a centimeter at the seams. Insert the gasket and glue another layer of fabric. It remains to connect all the details, first gently grinding them and measuring the product. Cut sailor ribbons from satin or silk. Garnish their tips with gold paper by carving small anchors. From it, cut out the
