In order for the user to set the current state of the equipment, the device is equipped with LEDs. If the green indicator flashes stably with a break of one second, then this indicates the normal operation of the device. If the red LED lights up with the same frequency , then this indicates the presence of an NS.

A continuous glow of the same indicator will indicate that a VT has occurred. In this case, the NS is an emergency situation, and the VT is the technical malfunction of the unit. The device has a separate yellow LED. Its glow indicates the transfer of data via the RS-485 interface.

There are three main sources of threats that arise both during installation and during use.

Firstly, the mains voltage can be dangerous, which reaches 242 V. Secondly, the fluid pressure in the pipeline is 2.5 MPa, which is quite a lot. Another threat is the very high temperature of the liquid, which reaches 150 degrees Celsius.

To ensure safety during operation, it is necessary that:

  • high-quality insulation of all electrical parts of this meter was ensured;
  • equipped with reliable grounding for IP;
  • high strength was maintained for the housing PPR, IP, as well as for the protective sleeve of the vehicle;
  • there was a complete tightness of the connections PPR and IP with the pipeline.

Installation of the TEM-104 heat meter can only be carried out by a qualified specialist. Installation is carried out in strict accordance with the instructions of the ES 99556332.002.000, as well as with the already approved installation project.

Before proceeding to direct installation, a specialist should check the integrity of the container, and then unpack. In the winter season, there is an additional condition: it is possible to open only after the meter has been kept in a heated room for 24 hours.
