Probably, many of us very often heard such a geographical term as “Central Europe”. He occasionally appears in the media, in fiction and scientific literature, and simply in a conversation between relatives and not so people.
What is this part of the planet? Which countries can be attributed to it? And why?
This article will not only answer all the questions above, but also tell you why Central Europe is so interesting for travelers.
Section 1. General description of the object in question
Despite the fact that during the time of the Commonwealth and the Habsburgs, Central Europe was a single and indivisible brainchild of these empires, today it consists of two parts, though with completely different poles.
One pole, represented, for example, by Switzerland or Austria, is considered more prosperous, they offer all the best: high-quality goods, a high level of service, a calm political situation, and a reliable economy.
The countries of Central Europe that are in the second pole are Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. These states are called less prim and quite loyal.
It should be noted that the term proposed above in Europe itself is not particularly used. Why? The fact is that local residents are firmly convinced that their states should be distributed according to a completely different principle, referring to either the eastern or western parts of the Old World.
Section 2. What is Central Europe interesting for tourists?
It is unlikely that anyone will deny the fact that this place is able to surprise any tourist. Austria and Switzerland, for example, in both winter and summer have approximately the same flow of guests, most of whom, as a rule, come for the purpose of relaxation or exploring the country.
Ski resorts, various excursions and relaxation at a comfortable non-hot temperature are the highlights of Austria and Switzerland.

A country in Central Europe like Austria often attracts true music lovers. Why? The fact is that Vienna is not in vain considered the musical capital of the world. A huge number of concert halls are concentrated here, and the Vienna Opera annually hosts the most famous musicians of the planet.
But Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic offer travelers quality and, best of all, inexpensive holidays. Tourists are happy to spend holidays among the mountains and lakes of Slovakia, get acquainted with Polish reserves, are amazed at the wild and almost virgin nature of Hungary.

You must admit that many people associate eastern Central Europe with this country, which is considered to be a favorite vacation spot for many travelers from all over the world.

If you pick up a globe or a world map and examine them carefully, it will be simply impossible not to notice Germany. And it's not even about the area of the territory. The power and energy of this country is felt in every corner of the planet.
The Germans actually have something to be proud of: a stable economy, the best medicine, diverse nature and a good climate. What else is needed for a comfortable life?
Numerous travelers come to Germany with completely different goals. Someone wants to visit the old castle, someone does not cease to be amazed at the stunning Gothic buildings, and there are those who are not averse to shopping on the eve of Christmas or Easter holidays.
