Holiday costume Pierrot is very easy to manufacture and can be a good option for the New Year celebration in kindergarten or school. It consists of the following elements:

How to make a shirt

To make a shirt, you need a white satin fabric. Initially, it is necessary to prepare a drawing on paper, and then redraw the pattern on the fabric. It is worth remembering that there must be allowances for seams, therefore, when cutting, add 1 cm on each side.
After the pattern is ready, grind both parts of the back, leaving a small incision for the fastener. Carefully smooth out the finished seam and overcast. Sew together the shoulder parts and prepare the grind for the neck.
Attach a facing to the neck with the front part and work along the edge. Unscrew it on the wrong side, smooth everything thoroughly, and then flash it along the other side. Attach the sleeves and overcast the seams. Then work out the sides of the shirt. Fold and flash the bottom of the sleeves and the finished shirt. On the incision left on the back, make a buttonhole and buttonhole.
For Pierrot’s costume, you need pompons made of fabric and cotton. Cut 6 white and black circles of fabric with a diameter of 10 cm. Then collect each circle, pre-filling it with cotton and secure with a thread. Sew ready-made pompons to the bottom of the sleeves, 6 pieces each, alternating colors among themselves.
To make buttons, you need to cut 6 circles of black fabric with a diameter of 7 cm. Fold in pairs with the front side and connect with each other, leaving a small distance. Turn off the finished buttons on the front side, fill tightly with cotton and sew. In total, 3 large buttons should be obtained. Sew them to the shirt.
The collar can be made of lace, the width of which is 10-12 cm or of an ordinary nylon ribbon for bows. If you use a tape, then you need about 3 m. You need to roll the edge of the tape so that you can slip the elastic into it and flash it. Then tighten the finished product to the size of the child’s neck.
How to make pants
You can completely make a Pierrot costume with your own hands, using patterns or wearing absolutely any light trousers. To make trousers, you need to make a pattern on paper, and then redraw it on the prepared fabric, adding additional allowances.
When everything is ready, connect the parts of the trousers to each other, fold the belt at a distance sufficient to then pass the elastic. Bend and hem the bottom of the trousers. Thread the rubber band and fasten.
Pierrot Costume Cap
For Pierrot's costume you need to make a cap of thick paper. Initially, the cap part is cut out and glued to allowance. For a cap, you need to make pompons in the same way as for a shirt. Glue the pompons to the cap with glue or just sew. Instead, you can stick ordinary circles made of paper.
At the ear level, attach an elastic band that will go through the chin. This is necessary so that the cap does not move out of the head.
Makeup for the image
With all his appearance, Pierrot portrays sadness, because this is his usual state. If possible, it is advisable to make up the face of the child for the holiday, using theatrical makeup. To do this, you need to paint your face white, and draw a fairly large black tear on one cheek directly under the eye. You can limit yourself to one tear using a black pencil.
