Jane Ann Krenz is a famous American writer. Her books do not leave the New York Times bestseller list. She published her novels under seven different names, now the writer uses only three pseudonyms. Biography
Amanda Quick is one of the pseudonym names of the writer Jane Krenz. She was born 03/28/1948 in Cobb, California. The first ten years of her life she spent in Borrego Springs. In 1970, she graduated from the University of California with a bachelor's degree in history. Being confident that it would be difficult to find a job with this degree, I decided to get a master's degree in library science at the University of San Jose.
After graduation, she marries an engineer Frank Krenz, whom she met at the university. The young moved to the Virgin Islands, where Jane worked as a librarian in elementary school for a year. She calls this period of her life a career disaster and moves to the library systems at Duke University.
The early years of a writing career
While still working at Duke University, Jane begins to write romance novels with a paranormal aftertaste. For six years she sent her works to various publishers. But invariably received a refusal. During this time, she tried several times to stop writing. But for the future career of her husband, they had to move to Seattle.
And Jane continued to write. In 1979, her first novel, The Cute Pirate, was published. Following publishes several more novels under his own name Jane Krenz. But the publisher concludes a contract with her, in which one of the conditions is not to use the name in new works for ten years. This led to the creation of several names, including the pseudonym Amanda Quick.
