Lilia Kim is a woman who today can be safely attributed to one of the most successful contemporary Russian writers. Besides the fact that she systematically publishes her new books, Kim is also a screenwriter who works on many projects, including on Channel One. Her pen belongs to the scripts of some of the series that have been successfully shown on television. Among them are “Cream”, “Mom will be against”, “Money” and “Attempt of Faith”.
Spouse Lily Kim is also a well-known author and psychotherapist in Russia Andrei Kurpatov.

This girl was born in St. Petersburg. Lilia Kim was born in May 1979. Information about the writer's family and her early childhood is not publicly available. But in one of her interviews, the girl told how from childhood she was told that she should be independent and able to provide for herself. Being a creative person and apparently born with a talent for writing, Lilia Kim dreamed of entering the Faculty of Philology. But the fear that the creative profession could not bring her a good income, prevailed over dreams and desires. After graduating from school, the girl entered the Engineering and Economic Academy named after Togliatti. Kim received an economic specialty, acquired a profession that promises her a pretty good income. By the way, she graduated from the academy before all her fellow students, having passed exams externally. Having received a diploma, which was spent a lot of effort, Kim did not feel a single drop of happiness or satisfaction.
Now the writer herself recalls that in that period of her life she acutely felt some doomed futility of everything that happened to her. Based on the settings that have been embedded in her head by others since childhood, she, it would seem, did everything right. But her inner instinct told her that everything that was happening to her was fundamentally wrong. A man who, from childhood, showed a penchant for literature and good musical abilities, having received the education of an economist, went into a remote corner in personal development. Lilia Kim at a fairly young age realized that in her life she had improperly built relationships with people and was engaged in completely unnecessary things.
The girl had a sharply expressed personality crisis, with which a fairly young, talented, vulnerable and inexperienced person could not cope on her own. This all led to the fact that Lily wanted to die. The worst thing happened - she attempted suicide.
Fatal acquaintance with a wonderful doctor
This whole story, which could end in truly tragic and irreversible consequences, occurred on August 19, 1999. Fortunately, Lily was found and urgently taken to the intensive care unit, and after that she was sent for treatment to the crisis department of the Pavlov neurosis clinic. To consult the patient, she was scheduled to meet with one of the psychotherapists, who turned out to be Andrei Kurpatov.
Dostoevsky Therapy
As Lilia Kim herself recalls, she fell in love with her psychotherapist-consultant almost immediately. But the girl perfectly understood that from the outside this story may seem insanely banal. Most patients fall in love with their doctors, and Lily was very afraid that Andrei would find out about her feelings.
After several sessions of psychotherapy, Andrei Kurpatov prescribed a treatment for bibliotherapy to his patient, which included reading the works of F. Dostoevsky. It turned out that the doctor is well versed in literature, and Lilia realized that, perhaps, in literary works there is a secret that will help her win the heart of her beloved man.
First written work
Having discharged from the hospital, Kim Lilia Alexandrovna was determined to start her life anew, and, of course, she remembered her passion for literature. The young woman decided that she would now work a limited amount of time to earn enough for the most necessary. Kim decided to devote the rest of her free time to what brings her true pleasure.
Andrei gave Lilya his phone number so that, after finishing treatment, she could get advice or the necessary advice. She wanted to write something like that, after reading what Dr. Kurpatov would immediately understand how she sees the world and what kind of person she really is. It was then that Lilia Kim began to write her first independent work, entitled "The Bible-Millennium." When the first few stories were ready, the girl called Kurpatov and let him read them. Moreover, about one and a half years have passed from the day of her discharge from the neurological dispensary. The doctor was delighted with what he read, called Lily back and said that she was a genius.
Decisive move
The circumstances were such that Lily decided to change her old housing and move just to the area where her beloved doctor lived. Andrei knew that the girl lives alone and there is no one to help with the move. He took the initiative and offered his help. Naturally, Kim did not refuse.
Having become, in a certain sense, neighbors, young people began to see each other much more often: they walked around bookstores together and watched films. And in the end, in 2000, Andrei made a beloved marriage proposal, which Kim at that time simply could not refuse.
Daughter Sonya
Like most newlyweds, the Kim-Kurpatov couple really wanted to have a baby. But few people know that almost 3 years after the wedding, Lily could not get pregnant. The reason for this was her diagnosis - diabetes, which provoked endocrine and hormonal disruptions in the body. Doctors told the spouses that, most likely, they would not succeed in having their children. Despite such statements, in the end, a miracle happened, and Kim became pregnant.
This period was very difficult, so the woman spent almost the entire time on conservation. At the same time, Andrei was always with her, supported morally in the hospital, went with his wife to pregnancy courses, and even attended the birth of their beautiful daughter, who was named Sophia.
Lilia Kim: “Anya Karenina” and other controversial works
Basically, Kim loves to write in series, the first of which is the Bible-Millennium. It included three books:

- "They were like children";
- "One soul for two."
In this work, Kim tried to interpret the Old Testament plots in her own way. It places characteristic biblical characters in modern conditions.
Another series written by Lily is Maximus Thunder. It also includes three books. The main character in them is Max Gromov - a young fifteen-year-old genius, the owner of a huge bio-corporation. The stories in this series are a mixture of a certain philosophy, mysticism, esotericism and talk about the approaching apocalypse.
But the most discussed among all the works of Kim was the book "Anya Karenina", which was released outside the series. Lily kept the prototypes of all the characters from the original work of Tolstoy. But, again, she took advantage of her favorite technique and transferred all the characters to modern conditions. Kitty, for example, hunts for rich oligarchs, Karenin is engaged in pimping. And the dream of the main character - Ani Karenina - is popularity, she wants to become a world-famous pop symbol. For a long time, the spouses Kim and Kurpatov were considered an ideal, loving and exemplary couple. In addition, as you know, Dr. Kurpatov starred in programs on Russian television, in which he repeatedly gave viewers advice on how to maintain an ideal relationship in marriage.
Relatively recently, gossip that the couple divorced began to appear in various forums.
