Last weekend, places of attraction for fans of European beer festivals in Russia were Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Tula, Khabarovsk and Yaroslavl. Namely, the Baltika brewery, where they decided to hold their events based on the famous Bavarian holiday.
The lack of Schengen and financial opportunities for flying to one of the Old World festivals is no reason to stop learning about your favorite drink, especially since the market leader has modern European equipment at the breweries - go and study. This is exactly what more than 800 people who took part in the October beer festival celebrated. It is worth saying that the festival itself was held in our country for the fourth time.
At the entrance, everyone was greeted by beautiful Bavarian girls, thematic music and dozens of activities - where could there be no attractions at the European festival! For example, in St. Petersburg minted coins for memory, unwound a giant spinner and received predictions from the Bavarian Fraulein. Many guests also participated in a mass flash mob - they came in festival outfits, for which they received separate compliments from the organizers and immediately became points of attraction for dozens of joint selfies.
Next is a trip to the heart of modern breweries, where visitors went through all stages of beer production step by step - from germinating grain (creating malt) to the bottling line - learned more about the nuances of brewing and the distinctive features of various European beer festivals. Along the route, riddles were solved, completed competitive tasks, fought with myths and shouted the Bavarian “O 'Zapft is!”, That is, “Uncorked!” - the phrase with which the famous festival begins.
The organizers did not forget about the rules of beer consumption culture - the badge “Celebrate Responsibly” became the pass to the festival. Still, beer is a drink that requires respect for itself, it is worth drinking only in the right atmosphere and with expertly selected snacks, and in no case should you abuse it. It is noteworthy that the tour itself received a fair restriction of 18+, minors simply can’t get to the breweries.
At the end of the route, according to tradition, a tasting took place - they also tasted non-alcoholic beers, which Baltika has six. This variety is dictated by the fashion for a healthy lifestyle, for which such drinks are very good - professional runners often use them to restore the body's water and salt balance after the finish, and due to the economic situation - the non-alcoholic beer market is growing every year.
