The Tale of the Bear continues with a meeting between a man and his wife. He promises her a fur coat for fifty rubles and shows three cubs each. The news of what happened quickly spread through the forest. The black-brown bear found out about this. A man killed his girlfriend and took off his skin, and took the kids in the bag. Then the bear was sad. Hung his head. Howled about his beloved silver-brown bear. In torment he remembers his beloved, calls himself a widower, and her noblewoman. She left him, and now they don’t play together, but they don’t give birth to future children, don’t pump them, don’t cradle them.

To the bear, the big boyar, at this time different animals come, both large and small. Even a wolf nobleman with sharp teeth came running. And his eyes are envious. A beaver, a shopping guest, also came. His tail is bold. A swallow-noblewoman, a little squirrel-princess, a fox-clerk of the treasurer came. Even an ermine buffoon ran in. The abbot came also. A gray-haired little white dog also came running. Was a guest and a hedgehog. He bristled.

This ends the Tale of the Bear. Pushkin Alexander Sergeevich did not have time to complete this work. The tale was created by the author in the autumn season of 1830 in Boldin. This work is recognized as the best example of a truly Russian folk style. It is possible that the plot of the tale belongs entirely to Alexander Pushkin. The folk source of the work was not found. According to the form of the verse and style, the tale can be attributed to lamentation or folk song. There is a severely dramatic description of the death of the bear, as well as the fate of her children. You should also pay special attention to the poetic genuinely folk style of the crying bear about the deceased beloved.
