- PostCarbon is a cartridge for finishing water purification from a water supply system. Cleans running water from active chlorine and organic compounds.
The filter is installed directly on the sink. The package includes all the necessary elements necessary for self-installation of a water purifier, including a tap. The filter is designed to operate for 24 hours a day.
Installation Instructions
The Expert Standard water purifier is very easy to install on its own. Meanwhile, before starting work, it is necessary to study the installation instructions. It is also necessary to shut off the cold water tap valve, but open the tap on the mixer to relieve pressure in the pipe. Sequencing:
- The place to install the crane is determined so that it is convenient to use and that there is room under the sink to connect it. First you need to drill a hole (diameter 12 mm), install a tap and tighten it with a nut.
- Next, install the adapter in such a way as shown in the figure in the instructions: screw the ball valve onto the water pipe; disconnect the cold water supply from the water pipe to the kitchen faucet; screw the eyeliner onto the ball valve.
- A place is determined in order to suspend the filter. It should be noted that it is connected to a ball valve (water supply) and a tap for clean water. If necessary, you can use the supplied plastic tubes.
- Next, all the elements of the filter are connected to each other in full accordance with the images in the instructions.
- Lastly, replaceable cartridges are installed. To do this, each filter element is inserted into the filter head and rotated 90 degrees clockwise until it clicks and the triangular pointers on the cartridge and holder are aligned.
The start of the “Barrier Expert Standard” filter
Before starting the filter, you must first make sure that the ball valve is closed. Then the tap for supplying pure water and the cold water tap are opened. Only after these steps can the ball valve be opened . A few more minutes are necessary for the filter to fill with water, and only after that clear water will flow from the tap.
Filter "Barrier Expert Standard" involves the installation of the optimal level of water flow. This can be done by adjusting the ball valve. The first 10 liters of clean water must be drained, and only after that the water purifier can be used for its intended purpose.
Replaceable filter cartridges
The composition of the water purifier includes cartridges that use the most effective materials. But the cartridge life is limited to 10 thousand liters of water, and therefore after some time they can no longer cope with the task of effective water purification. To prevent this from happening, the filter elements must be changed in a timely manner.
For each series of filters, a redesigned set of cartridges is used. For example, for the filter “Barrier Expert Standard”, such replaceable filter elements as “Mechanics”, “Ion Exchange”, “PostCarbon” are used. It is strictly forbidden to use any other replaceable cartridges instead, as this will not provide the necessary water purification.
