Garter stitch and its use
One of the simplest and most common patterns is shawl knitting. It is performed by facial loops in all rows (even and odd). Agree that this is easy? This pattern is used mainly for knitting hats, scarves and clothes for babies. With this knitting, the same pattern is obtained from both the front and the wrong sides. The canvas is quite soft, voluminous and stretches well. The main condition for performing garter stitching is accuracy. In this case, the product made with garter stitch will be smooth and beautiful.
To diversify the usual garter stitch, for example, when knitting a stole, you can use knitting needles of several sizes. Having knitted several rows on knitting needles No. 6, we switch to knitting needles No. 2, then we change them again. It turns out a very beautiful canvas - airy and embossed. It is especially good for this to use yarn from Angora or other downy threads.
Two-color knitting with facial loops also looks very beautiful. Using different bright colors, you can make a beautiful kit for your baby. For example, a hat and a scarf. Or for an older child - a sweater and leggings.
Hosiery knitting
Another simple knitting pattern is hosiery. This type of knitting is even more common than the previous one. In this way, sweaters, dresses, hats and so on are knitted . Hosiery is one-sided.
It is carried out as follows: all odd rows of the fabric are knitted with facial loops, all even ones are purl. For a more even and smooth knitting, the front loops are knitted for the upper lobes.
And alternately knitting the front and back loops, you can knit a pattern such as elastic. The width of the stripes can be different from 1x1 loops to three or more.
Here is another fairly simple knitting pattern - "muddle". This, like the shawl, is a double-sided pattern. With it, you can knit dresses, children's sets, sweaters, scarves and so on. Sometimes this knitting is called "pearl". In order to perform it, you need to dial an even number of loops on the knitting needles and knit as follows. In the first row we alternate one front and one wrong side, in the second row, on the contrary - one wrong side and one front. Everything is very simple.
Knitting simple beautiful patterns. Large cells
This pattern is more complicated to perform. But learning to knit it is easy. With it, you can connect beautiful things for babies, socks, mittens and so on. And if you use two colors, it turns out even better. The photo shows the mittens connected in this way.
Perform it like this: in rows 1 and 9, all the loops are knitted with purl; in rows 2 and 10 - all loops are front. The 3rd, 5th and 7th row should be knitted like this - first 4 front loops, then 2 loops are removed (the thread should be at work) and so repeat until the end of the row. 4, 6 and 8 rows are knitted as follows - 4 wrong loops, then two loops are removed (but the thread is already before work), we continue this until the end of the row. In the 11th, 13th and 15th rows, 1 facial loop is knitted first, then 2 loops are removed (thread at work), we end with 4 facial loops. In these rows, the first facial loop is knitted only at the beginning, the rest of the loop is repeated until the end of the row. And finally, 12,14 and 16 rows are knitted like this - the first purl loop (until the end of the row is repeated), then 2 loops are removed (the thread should be before work) and again 4 purl loops. That's all. Such a simple knitting pattern looks very original, the knitting is dense and holds its shape well.
