The selected seeds should first be thoroughly warmed up by spreading them on the windowsill. After heating the seeds should be sorted. That is, empty seeds are separated from healthy ones. After a while, empty seeds will begin to emerge, and healthy and suitable for planting will fall to the bottom.
Selected healthy seeds should be sorted again, washed with salt in clean water and lowered into a weak potassium permanganate solution for about 15-20 minutes to disinfect possible pests. After the disinfection procedure, the seeds are washed again and soaked in warm water for 11 hours.
