Very funny and at the same time very instructive story “Barankin, be a man!” was created in 1961 by the Soviet writer Valery Vladimirovich Medvedev. This amazing story tells about the adventures of two friends - classmates and two-year-olds Yura Barankin and Kostya Malinin, who once suddenly got sick of learning.

A sparrow daddy flew in after her. And then they, with all their large sparrow family, rushed to fight with other sparrows for a birdhouse.
I do not want to be a sparrow, I want to be a butterfly
But this does not end the work “Barankin, be a man!” Its summary is only entering the acute phase of its development. Disappointed in sparrow life, the boys wanted to become butterflies. And again, the focus with the transformation they turned out. Only Barankin became a skit, and Malinin became a machaon. Now they were insanely happy that they would carelessly flutter from one flower to another.
But again, it wasn’t there, they were immediately noticed by a badass - a tailless sparrow. Having barely managed to hide from this feathered bird, the butterflies so wanted to eat that the aroma of pollen made them dizzy. Then they heard someone's footsteps and screams, they were their classmates with shovels who were already chasing butterflies, thinking that they were harmful silkworms. Barankin and Malinin suddenly so wanted to see their friends, and not even knowing why, because the guys worked on the site, and Fokina gave them all sorts of orders. But then a bee started chasing butterflies Barankin and Malinin.
Ants
Further even more difficult was the heroes of the work “Barankin, be a man!” The summary continues with the fact that they barely escaped from this terrible bee, when suddenly ants appeared. And immediately our heroes wanted to become ants. But then they thought that the ants were constantly working, and immediately went overboard. But now Barankin wanted to become a drone. And then suddenly the Machaon-Malinin fell asleep, Barankin could not wake him in any way! And then Fokina with the guys appeared again. Seeing the beautiful swallowtail, she wanted to put him in a stain. In general, it was barely possible, but Barankin repulsed the machaon from Fokina, and they flew wherever they looked, if only to stay away. These heroes suffered a lot, but continued their reincarnations.
Then they turned into ants, and then such efficiency was revealed in them that they themselves were afraid. They began to work from morning until evening, until they were eaten by a swift, and they again woke up with people. In general, these unintelligent guys had to go through a lot of things and suffer until they realized that it is best to be human.
