Thanks to shower curtains, Aperture Science was recognized as the best supplier in the whole country even then.
In the Portal universe, Cave Johnson was a big fan of science, but he himself did not understand it. His company regularly allocated funds to study a wide variety of aspects. Portals became the main focus, and well-known athletes, astronauts and other people experienced their action. Many of them died at the same time, but Johnson did not stop. He continued to conduct crazy experiments, trying to crossbreed a man with a praying mantis, and later looked for resources to destroy the mutants that appeared.
