It is simply impossible to name the most beautiful city in the world - opinions differ, as they say, "there are no friends for the taste and color"! A lot of social surveys on the
World Wide Web, referenda of specialists and many other ways of collecting information of interest exist in order to find out the priority opinion
of the world's population. For example, the world-famous American magazine Forbes annually publishes a list of ten positions, which names the most beautiful city in the world in terms of tourists (over the past year). Most often, the presence of unique architectural structures, beautiful hotels, fountains and other interesting structures is assessed.
For many years in a row, the title of "most beautiful city in the world" was given to Paris - the world-recognized capital of high fashion and unique romance. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Champs Elysees, Notre Dame Cathedral and many other world and historical values are presented here. Sasha Gitri's famous quote: "Not the Parisian who was born here, but the one who was born again in Paris!" very accurately describes the condition of any person who has visited this magnificent city once. Well, didn’t Paris deserve such a title ?!
However, in 2012, the list changed its leader, giving the palm to the capital of Great Britain - London. And although at any time of the year rain can be seen here more often than the bright rays of the sun, this did not stop London from receiving the prestigious title of "the most beautiful city in the world."
The sights of the Rain City are impressive - Tower Castle,
Buckingham Palace, Sherlock Holmes Museum and much more! The densely populated metropolis with a population of 7 million is a large international center of trade and business. And it was in 2012 that the 30th Summer Olympic Games were held here. London has something to be proud of, and tourists will definitely find something to do!
However, it is very disappointing that the list of the most
beautiful cities in the world does not contain at least one of our country. But our sociologists do not despair and try to find out the answer to another question: what is it, the most beautiful city in Russia? It is natural that any of the inhabitants of the country will first name one of the two capitals of our homeland - directly, Moscow or the northern capital - St. Petersburg. The famous Moscow Kremlin or the unsurpassed spectacle of drawbridges (there are as many as 13!) In St. Petersburg should be seen by every citizen of our country to know that our cities are in no way inferior to European standards of beauty!
Each, even the smallest town of our country, has made a significant contribution to the cultural and historical heritage of the country. Therefore, it is almost impossible to single out one of the most beautiful cities in Russia. Each of us forever belongs to the place where he was born and spent unforgettable carefree years - childhood. Sochi, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Novgorod - all these cities are beautiful and it makes no sense to choose the best of them!
