In the Moscow region there is a small town Voskresensk. A little more than 94 thousand people live here. Despite its small size, the city has a developed social infrastructure. There is the Palace of Sports "Moscow Region", which is the home arena of the hockey club "Chemist". In addition, there are six other institutions in Voskresensk where you can go in for sports, send your child to the section - this is the Gornyak complex, FSC Voskrensk, a club for sports for the disabled, a chess and teenage club, and a water sports complex.
There are also three youth cultural centers, a puppet theater and a chamber choir. Four Palaces of Culture, a cinema, a museum and libraries.

Within the walls of the Palace of Culture, the Maestro Jazz band works, performing not only jazz compositions, but also pop and dance compositions. There is also a veteran choir that has been operating since 1993. This is a regular participant in all events held in the Palace. There is also a variety group "Panorama", working since 1980. The folk vocal team (academic) operates on an ongoing basis.

Why exactly named after Doctor N. N.?
This man posthumously received the title of Honorary Citizen of Voskresensk. Here he died in 1985, having managed to do a lot of good for the village and its inhabitants. In memory of him, a street was named and a monument was erected in a park near the Khimik recreation center in Voskresensk.
N.I. came to the city of Doctors during the Second World War. Then his knowledge was required at a chemical plant. It was his experience that made it possible to produce products for the needs of the front. After the war, after some time, Nikolai became the director of that same chemical enterprise. For 30 years, while he served as leader, the city has changed almost beyond recognition. There was a new housing, kindergartens, hospitals and schools, training and consulting center.
In 1957, the magnificent building of the Khimik recreation center was erected in Voskresensk, in 2007 it received the name of Doctor N. N.

Today, the Chemist of Voskresensk is a modern venue for interesting and unforgettable events.
So, on December 15 this year, the metronome jazz club comes to the walls of the Palace. By the way, most of the club members are students of Spartak Chubarev, a native of Voskresensk.
December 16 for children at 12:00 will begin the show “Heroes in Masks”. This is a theatrical circus and costume performance. There will definitely be practical jokes and interactive games.
On December 28 and 30, 2017, the Khimik recreation center of Voskresensk invites everyone to a New Year's performance.
Next year's events
The poster of Voskresensk for 2018 is not yet very extensive. January 7, the cabaret duet “New Russian Grandmothers” will perform in the DC building. On this Christmas evening, you can get a strong charge of vivacity and have a good laugh at the completely new program of cheerful grandmothers.
On January 27, the choir of the Valaam Monastery will come to the Palace. The team will visit the city with the Christmas program “The Light of Balaam”. Classical Russian works, church chants and patriotic songs will be played.
In February, the 13th, in the Palace of Culture you can enjoy the songs of the Kuban Cossack Choir. The team is recognized as a kind of Russian brand and is a truly historical ensemble of the Krasnodar Territory.
