Zelfira was born on July 13, 1955 in the Latvian city of Riga. True, despite the place of birth indicated in the girl’s metric, she is not Latvian by nationality. After all, her father comes from Tatarstan, and her mother is from Kyrgyzstan. The parents of the girl met in the Russian capital, where they came to enter the Institute of Cinematographers.
