As a rule, this depends on the country in which the application for the visa is carried out, and the time frame that is needed to apply for it.
For most countries in Europe and Asia, the price is 35 Euros. Such a visa is made within two weeks. If you need to make an urgent visa, the cost can rise to 70 Euros, and the production time will be reduced to three days.
Visa to Ukraine
The visa regime with Ukraine is supported by quite a few states, so in order to get to the territory of this country you need to get a visa. It should be noted that the procedure for obtaining permission to enter and stay is much easier than in the case of applying for a visa to Russia. To begin the process, you must contact the embassy and provide a package of documents. Among official papers should be present:

Types of Ukrainian visas

If a visit to Ukraine is for an organizational purpose, it is best to get a business visa. The basis for obtaining this type of permit is a request made by the host legal entity, but in this situation several rules must be observed. Firstly, a legal entity must be registered in Ukraine. Secondly, the inviting party must provide the embassy with a copy of the registration, which is framed in accordance with all legislative standards of Ukraine. Having received this type of visa, the guest will be able to stay in the country for one year.
If you visit Ukraine to see the sights of the country, it is advisable to apply for a tourist visa. To obtain such an entry permit, it is enough to provide a voucher that confirms the reservation of a hotel room. The validity of such a visa is up to 180 days.
It should be noted that despite all the changes that affected the 2014 visa regime, it is possible to extend the visa without leaving the country, it is enough to visit the embassy and apply for a visa extension.
Across the border by car
Today, many residents of Russia cross the border with Ukraine in a personal car. This is done by those car owners who know what the visa regime is and how to get through it quickly.
In order to cross the border on a vehicle, in addition to a visa, you must provide a policy confirming civil liability insurance. It should be noted that this document, if necessary, can be purchased directly in the customs zone, but it is best to take care of it in advance.
Entrance of Russians to Ukraine
Today, despite some disagreements between the government of the two countries, the visa regime of Ukraine with Russia has not yet begun to operate, so the residents of these states can go on a visit without much difficulty and visa.
Note that since 2007, the leaders of Ukraine and Russia signed an agreement that confirms a visa-free regime, therefore, to cross the border, you only need to have a passport of a foreign or internal sample. If the trip is carried out with children, then at the customs control the parent must provide the birth certificate of the minor or a passport if the child has reached a certain age. In those situations where the minor crosses the border under the supervision of third parties or on his own, he must have a paper with him in which parents give permission to carry out this trip.

Russians can safely transport items across the border that do not reach 200 Euros in value. Also, without paying a fee, you can import the following groups of goods:

- 2 liters of wine;
- 200 g of tobacco;
- 5 liters of beer.
As for food, they can be imported only if their amount does not exceed 50 Euro. Citizens of Russia can smuggle in the amount of $ 10,000 without any problems. If there is a need for a larger amount, then you should worry about the availability of documents that can confirm the source of its origin. Guests of Ukraine can carry absolutely any amount on plastic cards, but if it exceeds $ 50,000, you should get permission from the National Bank of Ukraine in advance.
