Skyrim: Avanzel and Other Side Tasks

Today we take a trip through the great Dwemer ruins called Avanchnsel. "Skyrim" is a game with a large number of not only interesting story lines, but also a variety of side quests. Therefore, the completion of each available task can take several hundred hours of playing time.

Of course, sometimes difficulties arise: the player is simply lost in all quests and begins to experience some difficulties with the passage. Just for such situations, special guides were invented, which explained in detail the implementation of a task. We dedicated this material to completing a quest called "From the Depths". It is in it that players will be able to visit the ancient Dwemer ruins of Skyrim - Avanchnzel.

Skyrim Quests: Avanznzel

When traveling in Riften, we advise you to look at the local port - there we can meet a slightly strange Argonian named From the Most Depths. She mumbles something to herself under her breath, so we are not shy and start a conversation with her. From the dialogue we learn that a heavy burden prevails over the Argonian. Which one, exactly? The answer to this question we receive only if we agree to take the burden from the very depths upon ourselves. We get a strange book from the grateful Argonian, which turns out to be a Dwemer dictionary - this dictionary must be returned to the place from where it was originally taken. These are Dwemer ruins.

How to get to Skyrim in Avanznsel?

After accepting the quest, a special mark should appear on our map, which will indicate the path. We set off southwest from the city of Riften and go straight to the mountain cave. It is in this place that the entrance to the Skyrim Avannsel is located. As soon as the hero is inside, the Dwemer dictionary begins to exude hidden power. Feel free to go ahead and try not to pay attention to the awakened echo of ghostly voices - their owners will be waiting for us in the big hall.

Finally, we meet with four ghosts: with Braya, Drenin, Watching-behind-the-Roots and with our old friend From the Very Depths. All four figures will soon disappear, and we will have to go through the distant broken wall, which opens the way to the Dwemer ruins. We fight with a mechanical spider and go into a large iron door.

In the ruins

Now we must follow the path that the four ghostly figures will follow. We have not reached Avanchsel, so we choose a winding road leading down. We go from room to room, meeting ghosts along the way and picking up valuable loot from the Dwemer chests. At the end of the road, another door awaits us - the Animatorium - through it we will enter the Avannsel.

In the first room, we again meet with ghosts. We are waiting for their disappearance, open the lock, collect everything we need, and then climb the stairs up. In another large hall, we see another scene of ghostly memories, from which we learn that the group began to be very disappointed and doubt something.

Next, we go down to the gigantic factory and see a couple of assembly workbenches, on each of which lies a Dwemer centurion. We are moving carefully around the plant, as there will be many Dwemer spider workers below. We go forward a bit and stumble upon the body of the deceased Drenin, who decided to leave his friends and return. We get to the Steam engines and we hear a new dialogue between the ghostly figures - from it we learn that a hero named Observing-for-Roots began to hear the call of the Dwemer Dictionary. Soon we will find his body, which will lie behind one of the doors with a trap.

Quest completion

The passage of the Avanchsel from Skyrim is drawing to a close. As a result, we will be able to get to the pedestal from which the Dwemer Dictionary was removed. We look around - nearby in the wreckage of one of the centurions will be dead Braya. We approach the pedestal and return the Dictionary.

After that, the book will open, and we have to fight with the only whole centurion. As a reward for completing the quest, we will get the effect of "Ancient knowledge", the use of which gives the character several useful stats: +25 on Dwemer armor and +15 to increase the speed of pumping the skill "Blacksmithing".

You can leave the Avannzel ruins through a special elevator located behind the western passage (the elevator goes directly to the first level of the ruins). The door to the north balcony will be locked with a wooden bolt.
