In this article we will tell you how to quickly and easily create original shoes for your baby with your own hands. We will also present the schemes and describe the features of the performance of the Crocodile booties. The master class is suitable for beginner needlewomen! The first stage of work: preparatory
So, in order to tie crocodile autumn booties, you will first need to prepare the necessary tools, including: a hook, markers, scissors. You will also need yarn. It is advisable to purchase a special one for kids, for example, merino. She is very soft, tender, strong and not at all prickly. In addition to merino, for the manufacture of children's things, you can use alpaca wool. It is undesirable to choose yarn from Angora wool, polyamide or with the addition of lurex.
As for color, the Crocodile booties will look great in any gamut, but fancy multi-colored yarn will give them special beauty. You will also need 6 beautiful children's buttons (medium size) - for the fastener. Having prepared everything you need, we determine the size of the future product. Outsole Length:
- for babies from birth to 3 months - from 6 to 8 cm;

Second stage: sole design
We start crochet booties with knitting soles. We will work according to the scheme below.
We begin to knit by creating a chain of fifteen air loops (for a 10-centimeter sole). Your quantity may be different, depending on the size you need. We knit the first row as follows: we skip two air loops, and in the third we perform a single crochet (RLS). In the next 6 stitches of the base, we also knit one sc each. Next, we make 5 columns with one crochet, and in the initial loop of the chain we perform 8 C1H, thereby forming a rounded shape of the sole. We turn the knitting, again we perform 5 1, one in the loop of the base, and then - 6 . In the last loop of the row, add 3 single crochet and end with a connecting loop. We get a workpiece with curves at the ends. We continue to knit the second, third and so on rows, according to the pattern. We make the necessary increases in the toe and heel. As a result, we get the sole of the booties. By analogy with the first, we make the second part.
The third stage: continue knitting
To design the sides of the booties, we make five rows. The first one is completely knit with crochets, without forgetting to make a lifting loop at the beginning of the row and connecting at the end. From the second to the fifth row we knit a gum pattern. So the product will sit well on the leg and put on comfortably. At the beginning of the row we always make 2 air loops, then we knit with embossed columns with one crochet, alternating between the front and the wrong. Embossed columns are performed for the leg of the column of the previous row. Important: the last column must be different from the first in a row, otherwise the pattern will shift. If the column is the same, start the next row with another column.
The fourth stage: we make out the toes
After completing 5 rows of sides of the Crocodile booties, we proceed to knit the toe. For this we will do the reduction. Create a markup: fold the workpiece in the center of the sole, and then again in half. Mark the places of bending with markers. The first row of the toe: first, we knit with relief columns to the marker, alternating the wrong side with the front, then only facial columns to the next marker. After marking, we work as usual and end with a connecting loop. We knit the second row of the toe again to the marker, alternating the columns. Now we are doing abbreviations: we are making a crochet, we introduce a hook between the loops of the column, we grab the thread. We knit the first two loops. Once again we make a crochet, introduce a hook, grab and knit the first two loops. The 3 loops obtained on the hook are combined into one. Decrease done.
Thus, we perform reductions to the column marked with a marker. After it, we continue to knit to the end of the row as usual, alternating the columns. Third row: before the first marker, we change the columns, and we knit the zone of the toe with the faces, without making decreases. Fourth row: we knit to the marker, changing the embossed columns. Then we knit 2 facial together, making cuts. After the second marker, we end the row as usual. Everything, the toe is ready. By analogy with the first, we draw up the second shoe.
The fifth stage of work: the design of the upper part of the crocodile booties
Again we do the markup. Fold the booties along, and then in half. We mark the place of the fold from the outside, where then there will be buttons. We also act with the second booties. We introduce the hook in place of the marker and execute a single crochet in each loop of the base. We knit the right boot in the direction of the heel, the left to the toe.
