One of the key quests for the Skyrim game is Skyrim Unification. This is the central quest in the game for the Empire, which decides the outcome of the Civil War in the northern province of Tamriel. It is a chain of smaller quests, during which we seize the possessions belonging to the Storm Brothers and establish the final control of the Empire over the land of the Nords. In the end, we have to fight with the head of the uprising - Ulfric Petrel.
"Skyrim Unification"
How to get this job? The quest "Combining Skyrim" does not require mods and is present in the original version. During the game, we will have to choose the side on which we stand. These are the Storm Brothers, a revolutionary union of the Nords, the indigenous people of Skyrim, fighting for the independence of the province. Or the Empire, which seeks to keep everything under its control and overcome the resistance of the Brothers. If we choose the side of the Empire in Skyrim, then Skyrim Unification will be the result of the war.
First you need to join the Imperial Legion. This can be done by coming to the city of Solitude, in a building called “Gloomy Castle” (although it does not look like a castle). There we find the legate of Rikke. She gives us the task of joining the legion.
During the passage of the chain of imperial quests, we will reach the main task, which General Tullius personally issues to us. In Skyrim, Skyrim Unification is connected with the main plot, namely, with the Endless Time task. According to its plot, between the Brothers of the Storm and the Empire, a temporary ceasefire and division of land sets in: it is determined which property will belong to whom.
We have to return several possessions to the control of the Empire: White Beach, Rift, Winterhold, Hyalmark, Eastmark. If any of the possessions was transferred to the Empire, then it will no longer be necessary to conquer it.
White Beach, Rift and Winterhold
The first mission in the Skyrim Unification chain in Skyrim will be the Disinformation quest. Legat Rikke wants us to intercept an enemy messenger carrying an important report to Dunstar. The main character takes his paper and brings the legate. She tweaks them a little, and we deliver the misinformation to Dunstar under the guise of a messenger. Documents can be stolen, but then thugs will be set on us. Or you can just kill the messenger.
The next task is the battle for Fort Dunstad, located in the possession of the White Beach. It is given to us by Tullius. Imperial soldiers attack the fort, and the protagonist of the game needs to take part in the assault.
This is followed by the mission "Military booty." By order of the legate, we have to find dirt on the servant of Jarl Riften. Here you need to steal a compromising letter from the table in the bedroom of Anuriel, a servant, and then blackmail her. In exchange for silence, she gives us the truth about the Brothers' military caravan. The only thing left is to deliver information to Rikke and attack the caravan itself or as part of a reconnaissance squad.
The attack on the caravan is followed by an attack on Fort Greenwall. Everything is simple here - we arrive at the place, immediately rush into the battle and capture the fortress.
The next task is the rescue of comrades from the prison located at Fort Castav, the possession of Winterhold. We go to the collection point and make our way to the prison in a secret move. After saving the Imperials, the battle for the fort begins. After that we hand over the quest to Tullius.
Hyalmark, Eastmark
At the end of the battle for Fort Castav, you need to go to Rikka. She gives us the penultimate task: to join the troops storming Fort Amol. After winning the battle, you need to talk to Rikke again. Legat will let us know that everything is ready for the final blow - the battle with Ulfric Petrel, the leader of the Storm Brothers.
The decisive battle of the civil war awaits us - the assault on Windhelm. We gather at the gates of the city and listen to the bellicose speech of General Tullius. After this, the battle begins for the city, during which it is necessary to get to the palace. Rikke and Tullius will be waiting for us there. There will be a dialogue with Ultfrick Petrel. He makes it clear that he will not surrender to the living Imperials.
Next is the battle with the Petrel himself and his right hand, Stone Fist. After defeating the Nords, the leader of the rebels will ask for the last mercy - to be killed personally by Dovakin. You can do this, or you can let Tullius kill. At this point, the Empire’s central quest in Skyrim, Skyrim Unification, will end.
Quest bugs
Bugs in the "Skyrim Association" are sometimes found. For example, in Rikke’s dialogue, the quest line does not appear when completing the “Take back control of the White Bank” task. You can solve it with a special line in the console, you can try to wait a few hours, or you can go into the main tent and "examine" the flags indicating the forts on the big map.
A bug is also possible when in the same quest the task marker hangs over an empty place. In this case, you just have to wait a few hours.
