Pepper Harvest Secrets
The secret to a good harvest of peppers begins with planting seeds. Peppers for seedlings start growing very early - numbers from February 1-15. The soil can be bought (the Living Earth is good or the Violet mix is ββhalf with turf soil - you do not need to fertilize these soils), but you can prepare light nutrient soil yourself: 1 part of the turf land and 2 parts of humus (one composition), or in equal parts peat and humus (different composition). On the bucket of each of these mixtures add 1 tbsp. wood ash and 1 tbsp. superphosphate. The mixture is mixed well, poured into a box, slightly compacted, after 2 cm make shallow (1 cm) grooves, which are watered with warm water. Pepper seeds are laid out after 2 cm, covered with the same soil, slightly compacted and placed where the temperature is kept at about 24-26 degrees Celsius. After 2 days, the soil is slightly sprayed, and on 5-6 days, under such conditions, plants will begin to emerge. Immediately you need to put the box with seedlings in a sunny place for a week with a temperature of 16 degrees. Then the temperature must be raised to 25 degrees during the day and not lower than 16 at night. Water the plants every 7 days with water at a temperature of at least 25 degrees. In such conditions, pepper grows for a month, during which time you need to pour it 1 time with a warm solution of calcium nitrate (1 tablespoon per bucket of water). A box with seedlings needs to be turned over to the sunny side in a day or two. Then it is necessary to pick plants into glasses with a diameter of 10 cm.
