To be in time for the summer, crocheting openwork dresses can begin in the winter. Each knitter is well aware of the moments of “creative itching” when she is eager to buy yarn and immediately get to work. However, along with this integral part of the working process are also periods of stagnation. At such a time, it is completely impossible to force yourself to take up a tool and finish crocheting dresses for the summer.
Of course, each craftswoman has her own speed, but on average the time for making a dress ranges from one to three months. So do not waste time, it's time to get to work!
Original crochet dress: schemes and a description of their elements
The dress, which is shown in the photo, looks very interesting and quite simply knits. It cannot be said that every novice craftswoman will cope with such a model, but those who have already connected at least one large product can try their hand.
Making motifs of different sizes and comparing them is the main aspect that can slow down and complicate crocheting dresses for women. With schemes, problems should not arise, since they do not contain sophisticated elements.
Here there are only elementary tricks: an air loop (VP), a single crochet (RLS) and a double crochet (CCH). As well as their combinations.
The crossing of the columns is as follows:
- Perform the first CCH with a slope to the right.
- Then knit VP.
- Then make a yarn, pull out a loop from the canvas of the base for the second CCH. In this case, the first CCH is between the yarn and this loop.
- The hook is turned on under the first CCH and a crochet loop is knitted.
- Knit the remaining two loops.
Crochet: dresses for women with patterns. Yarn parameters and knitting density
This model is knitted from a thread of medium thickness (about 340-370 m / 100 grams). It is best to use cotton or a material that is dominated by natural ingredients. Bamboo, viscose and linen have almost the same properties as cotton, so they are also well suited for knitting a summer dress.
If the craftswoman wants to reduce the cost of buying materials for the product, she can choose a thread that contains up to 30% acrylic or polyamide. A higher content of artificial fibers will result in a very hot and impractical crochet dress. Schemes and a description of openwork patterns will not save the situation if the material is selected incorrectly.
Beginning of work
First of all, a control sample should be made and measured. This is the obligatory stage from which crocheting dresses for women begins (with patterns or only according to the description of patterns). As a result, it will become clear how many rapports make up 10 cm of the canvas. In this case, this amount is four. You also need to draw a full-size pattern and apply a canvas to it in the process.
The details of the back and front are equal, so you need to knit them the same way:
- Dial a chain of VP for knitting 20 rapports.
- Proceed to the manufacture of the canvas (20 rapports) according to the scheme entitled “basic pattern”. The dress can be knitted fitted (as in the photo) or even. To narrow the details you need to gradually reduce the number of CCH in the extreme "bushes". To make the edges of the canvas smooth, knitting must be constantly applied to the pattern.
- The expansion of the part is carried out by adding CCH in the extreme "bushes".
- At a height of 50 cm from the beginning of knitting, one should begin to knit the neckline and armhole. This work is carried out, focusing on the above scheme. After completing one corner, you need to cut the thread and tie the second.
In the same way they knit the second part and sew them with a hook or a needle along the side seams.
The design of the neck and bottom edge
The round coquette of the dress consists of 12 large motifs and 12 small ones. Due to the difference in width, the part of the coquette narrows upward.
Squares are knitted according to the relevant schemes, they are signed. When all the fragments are ready, they are sewn together, observing the sequence shown in the figure. In order not to be mistaken, motives need to be laid out on a pattern. The lower and upper edge of the coquette (neck) can be tied in several rows of RLS.
The finished part from the motives should be attached to the details of the front and back and with pins to designate the places where the connecting seams will begin and end. Then the canvas needs to be carefully sewn together.
Openwork bottom edge of the dress is formed by 28 motifs arranged in two rows. At the bottom of the dress should be knitted several rows of sc.
So you can apply your skills and use crochet. Dresses for women (with diagrams and instructions) are always very interesting projects for knitters.
