According to Federal Law No. 53, citizens who are 18 years old must repay a debt to their homeland through military service. Only young men are subject to compulsory appeal. Girls choose military professions as they wish. Every year their number in the ranks of the Armed Forces is growing. The question in which case they are not enlisted in the army more often arises among young people with anxiety: the prestige and pride from belonging to this stage in fate are gradually returning. But the law is implacable; there are restrictions for draftees. If they do not fit according to one of the criteria, they are given a respite or a “white ticket”. This means that a young man will never become a soldier.
Main criteria
In which case they do not take into the army, it is specified in detail in article 23 of the legislative act (53-FZ), approved in March 1998. Under the influence of time, the law is amended and amended, but there is always a strict restriction. In the ranks of warriors should be:
- young people without pathological bad habits;
- with good health;
- literate;
- disciplined;

- convicted, punished by compulsory or correctional labor, limited, deprived of liberty, arrested;

In which case do not take young people under the age of 27 into the army:
- declared unfit by the medical commission;
- who served in the military units of the Russian Federation as a soldier of complex service;
- replacing the army with an alternative service;
- scientists with a degree;
- passed through an appeal in another country under an international treaty.

Special marital status
The legislator provided for the protection of the family if the absence of one of the members for a year can seriously affect her condition. The draftee is granted a deferment, but when his circumstances change, you can wait for the summons or extend his civil freedom from military duties with documents confirming this right. Here are the reasons why they don’t enlist in the army:
- 2 children are being raised;
- there is one child, but the couple is waiting for the birth of the second, the gestational age of the spouse should be 26 weeks;
- the draftee brings up children alone;
- there is no one to leave their dependents - elderly parents, sisters, brothers, grandfathers, grandmothers;
- guardianship for a minor is executed;
- there is one child in the family, but he is disabled, and he is not yet 3 years old.
For legal exemption from military service, each case must be confirmed. The guardians will have to prove that their wards really need help, they are the only competent relatives, and the weakness is determined by a medical report.
Lack of health
The most common reason when young men are refused a call is their obvious and severe pathologies in the form of:
- mental retardation;
- schizophrenia;
- blindness;
- deafness;
- lack of limbs.
Citizens with such diseases at a young age are identified as unsuitable for service. Boys at school begin to check regarding their physical development, the presence of abnormalities. Doctors tell parents according to what evidence they are not taking into the army, to what extent their organs are violated, the question arises of the need for treatment, if possible.
The list of the most complex diseases
It happens that deviations are detected in adolescence, they can be cured, but many diseases give rise to permanently reject the desire of a young man to repay a debt to his homeland. The medical committee decides how serious and valid they are:
- slurred speech;
- enuresis stage;
- heart failure rate.
You can not falsify the disease, a history will prove the presence of:
- tuberculosis
- HIV infection
- leprosy.
If the diseases are at an early stage, it is possible that the hospital will help to get rid of them, but in incurable cases they will certainly be relieved of service. Dependencies and pathologies
The command seeks to recruit only absolutely healthy soldiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. What diseases will not be allowed to serve?
Recruits will receive a respite until full recovery:
- hypertension;
- with vascular and respiratory tract disease;
- suffering from bronchial asthma;
- ulcers
- with skin problems.
Will be the reason for suspension from military service:
- severe periodontitis;
- periodontal disease;
- colitis;
- enteritis.
Doctors on the commission will identify violations and make their decision. If they miss in the district clinic, they are not diagnosed, they will check the young man in the regional and regional hospital even after the call. When the highest status clinics find unsuitable, the conscript will be sent home.
Spinal problems
Teachers often force students to sit at their desks correctly and evenly. Over a long period of training, the spine may bend, pathology may appear in the development of bone tissue. At the 2nd degree, scoliosis is not taken into the army if the intervertebral discs are affected. Dismissed in stock with defects:
- bones in the cranial vault;
- in hands with impaired function.
People are retired when they are diagnosed with arthritis, chondropathy, a chronic disease in the joints and spine.
There is no hope of a complete cure - citizens receive "white tickets" that free them even from military retraining.
Developmental disorders
Even those conscripts who suffer from severe underweight (less than 45 kg) or obesity (4th degree) get a chance that they will not be taken into the army. Students and civil servants
The legislator provided for another category of citizens, deciding that they might not think about the army for a while. Power structures train their specialists in conditions close to army ones. After graduation, they receive a worthy education, title and can continue to serve in the department. These include organs:
- Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- FSB;
- Ministry of Emergencies;
- customs service.
It is allowed at the legislative level not to interrupt studies in educational institutions. If a student graduates from school at 18, he is allowed to do:
- to college;
- school;
- technical College;
- university.
When a student does not withstand educational loads and is expelled, he will have to be drafted into the army. Deferment from the army is possible under the following conditions:
- the institution is accredited by the state;
- training takes place on a full-time basis;
- the time limit is limited by the university program.
Scientists also do not need to serve, it is believed that they will bring more benefit to the country in their field. In our country, the replacement of emergency service with an alternative service has not received distribution. There are many disadvantages for young people:
- low salary;

- you still need to leave the house, move to another region.
To get into such a group, it is necessary to warn the military registration and enlistment office in six months, to submit a statement of your desire. In the application, indicate the reasons for taking such a step. The Commission may grant the request or refuse, considering the indicated facts unconvincing. Reasons should be chosen valid.
