In addition to the new town of Isla Paradiso, located on the islands, floating houses, new types of water transport, diving, mermaids, resorts and much more appeared in the game. And also 8 hidden islands were added to the game, for the opening of which you need to fulfill certain conditions.
Beryl shallows
The plot size on this small island is 64 x 64 cells. The easiest way to open it. All you need to do is get to it by boat, surf or swim. The island is located in the northeastern part of the map.
Atoll without worries
This is a large island with a plot of 60 x 60 cells. In addition to the plot, the island has a beach and a place where you can fish. To open the island in "Sims 3", the player must become the owner of a five-star resort.
Reef
A large island with a plot of 30 x 40, partially located in the water. A sim working as a lifeguard who saved at least 35 drowning people can open the island.
Scuba Diver's Lair
Large island with a plot of 50 x 60, located on the beach and partially located in the water. To open the island in Sims 3, you must master the skill "Immersion" and go explore the caves under water. Shelter
A beautiful island with a small plot of 25 x 30, which is partially hidden by water. To open the island in "Sims 3", you need to go through 5 tasks.
You can get these tasks by registering at one of the resorts, going to the administrator and asking him about the adventures.
The first task is called "The Old Man and the Old Island". For its implementation, you need to make friends with any local resident. The task will be considered completed when you ask a resident about a hidden island.
The second task is called "Laminaria! Save me!". You can accomplish it by bringing three kelp to a scientific institute. Laminaria is sold at a conventional grocery store. It can also be obtained from the bottom of the ocean by diving.
The third task will require the sim to walk along the road with hot coals.
The fourth task is called "Wandering Shark." During its execution, the player needs to find a shark on the bottom of the ocean and select the option "Watch the shark." The shark itself, of course, will not like it, and it attacks the player, but the task will be counted.
Following the fifth task, entitled "There is a map, but no map", you will need to go to the town hall and take a map.
Burglar Cave
A small island with a plot of 50 x 60 cells. You can open it by collecting a card of four parts located in bottles or chests. You can also purchase this card for points of happiness.
Mystery of the Mermaid
A group of islands with a plot of 30 x 30. Let a mermaid show the player to these islands. To do this, dive under water and make friends with one of the "wild" mermaids. With a sufficient level of friendship, the sim will be able to ask her about the whereabouts of the hidden island.
Crystal
The most remote island on the map with a plot of 64 x 64 cells. The island is quite small, and it is almost all occupied by the site. Discovering the island in Sims 3 is extremely difficult because you need to find a rare card in the bottle. A bottle with a card can be found anywhere in Isla Paradiso. Most often, it is found on the beach, the bottom of the sea or among treasures.
On the island itself, the player will also be able to find ruins with treasures.
Cheats for the Sims 3 Islands
If you do not want to complete all the quests and conditions to open the islands, then you can enter a code that removes fog from all hidden areas.
First you need to call the console (this is done by the combination of Ctrl + Shift + C). In the console, write TestingCheatsEnabled true and press Enter. Call the console again and enter discoverAllUnchartedIsland.
If you don’t need developer mode enabled, enter TestingCheatsEnabled false to remove it.
