You can assemble the trailer yourself. To do this, we purchase an axle in the store, better with a suspension and hubs that are not serviced for inexpensive wheels - classics. We need a width of about 1 m 20 cm, so about 50 cm will need to be cut. You can make a center cut and cut a piece from the middle to get 120 cm when docked.
For joining, we select the diameter of the pipe so that the axis does not form a gap with it when entering inside. Half shafts are inserted in the center of the pipe and the ends are boiled in a circle.
We proceed to the manufacture of the drawbar, with which the trailer will stretch. Its dimensions are not limited by anything - the larger the load, the longer the drawbar should be. On its mount we weld reinforcements.
Next, we make the hitch on the trailer for the ATV. We get a towbar and a self-locking ball coupling device. On the ATV, the ball is welded back to the beam. We attach the coupling device with bolts to the drawbar.
We form the frame from the profile sheets of the required size, which we weld together. We carry out welding on a flat surface. We make the bottom of a sufficiently powerful plywood and fix it with bolts inserted into pre-drilled holes in the frame. The screws are best used with countersunk heads, which will not interfere with the installation of the sides and unloading the trailer with a shovel.
The mass of the resulting trailer should be around half a centner.
It is advisable to treat the trailer with anticorrosive liquid or nail thin sheets of iron.
This trailer cannot be registered, because the ATV does not have a rear differential, which does not allow the use of a trailer with it, but if used in summer cottages and auxiliary areas, its use is quite acceptable.
ATV Snow Blower
If you have your own house with a large yard and have an all-terrain vehicle, you will certainly appreciate this device, with which you can turn a bunch of foliage in the fall and snow in the winter. All this can be done with a shovel, earning problems with the back, or it is possible in a short period of time, having settled down on a heated seat, to clean the necessary territory and, perhaps, to earn some money by helping the suffering.
The snowmobile for an ATV is a large rectangular rectangular metal sheet, curved in an arc, having a thickness of 2 to 6 mm with an overlay of rubber, which is a knife on the rib. It is mounted using a locking mechanism. The rotary mechanism has several positions, so this device is able to make turns. The structure includes damping springs that prevent breakage in a collision of a snow blade with an unexpected obstacle.
There are several ways to turn on and raise the snow blade: manually, with a winch, or with a motor (pneumatics). Manual method is the cheapest, but the most expensive in physical work.
In this case, you must take into account the volume of the ATV engine for hanging such a device. It should be at least 300 cubic centimeters, otherwise the work will be stopped due to the fact that the device can not cope. The width of the blade should be slightly larger compared to the width of the ATV, which is due to the fact that the latter must move around the cleared area.
You can buy a snow blade from dealers selling ATVs. It is better to purchase devices that have a blade width of 150 cm.
You can also make such a device yourself, but it is more difficult to design.
Mini-excavator
Attachments for an ATV from Beaver Pro (USA) are gaining increasing popularity. Using the model of this equipment QH50 you can turn an all-terrain vehicle into a mini-excavator.
This hitch is fixed in front of the ATV and is an arrow of an excavator with a bucket capacity of 0.1 cubic meters with a loading capacity of 800 kg. The drive is carried out autonomously from a Honda engine with a power of 4 hp, and also using a hydraulic pump. Digging is possible to a depth of 1.5 m.
Lumberjack
Another additional equipment for ATVs is the DR TreeChopper device for felling trees, with the help of which it is possible to cut trees having a trunk coverage of up to 10 cm without using external power sources. The work is carried out due to the fact that the front blades are motionless and necessary for grasping the trunk and directing it to the blades that rotate in a circle. ATV Cultivator
