The first slippers in the life of the baby are booties. Dogs embroidered on these socks look original, elegant and uplifting. The booties fit easily, and since the legs are still small, the work will be quick. This article describes several methods for knitting booties with a puppy's face.
The basic principles of knitting
For those who knit booties for the first time, it is important to follow the technique and the procedure for performing work. In this case, the shoes will correspond to the size of the legs and get elegant and warm. Often, when knitting booties "Doggies" are used five stocking knitting needles with the third number. There are options for creating soft slippers using two knitting needles. In any case, for knitting a small thing, the tool must be thin.

Yarn Requirements

Knit the first two rows with facial loops. Next, knit all the even rows according to the following pattern: remove the hem and make the front loop, then form a crochet and knit to the middle two loops. Before and after you need to do one double crochet. Then knit the other half with the front ones, also form a crochet in front of the last two loops, knit the front and edge loops. Odd rows knit in the front. Perform work until 51 loops form on the spoke.
Next, divide (visually) the part into three unequal parts using markers. On the sides should be placed on 20 loops, and the middle part will contain 11 loops. The extreme parts must be knit in the front method, and the middle with an elastic band 1 x 1. Knit in this way 6 rows. The beginning of the toe of the booties-dog is formed. Create a face

Puppy head
This option involves tying the head of the dog as a separate element. Take a yarn matching your booties color and draw 4 loops with thin knitting needles. Even rows should be knitted in the wrong way. In the first front row, double the number of loops. That is, knit one more loop from each. In the third row, repeat the increase. 16 loops formed on the spoke. Knit the product unchanged to the 9th row, in which you need to reduce the number by knitting every two loops together. In row 11, repeat the reduction in the number of loops. Cut the thread, pull the remaining tip through the last 4 loops. For ears, put 4 loops on the knitting needles and knit several rows with a scarf. In the last row, cut the loops in half and sew to the head of the dog. In the same way, make the second eye. Embroider the nose and eyes on the muzzle with a dark thread. Attach your head to the front of the sock.
