External sewage for drainage and wastewater treatment

Equally important for a private house is a properly created external sewage system, which in the future will ensure the removal and treatment of wastewater. As for the inside, it is much like a system in urban apartments. It includes all pipelines and plumbing inside the home. The external sewer network of a private house is a local system containing devices for wastewater treatment. Recently, external water supply and sewage networks are arranged in many suburban areas, which allows for comfortable life activities.

Outdoor sewage
In any case, the external sewage of a private house should be well thought out. First of all, you need to decide on a place for wastewater disposal. If a centralized network passes nearby, then it is possible to bring the sewer system to it. To do this, you will need the permission of the local water utility, which is usually issued after conducting geodetic studies of the site with an external pipeline. In the absence of such a network, a sealed drive or septic tank with a special filter is most often used. In the first case, it must be taken into account the fact that the machine of dump trucks will drive up to the drive, so the presence of passage is mandatory. The second option involves the study of soil and determining the level of groundwater.

External networks of water supply and sewerage
Today, there are completely different external sewage systems, depending on certain conditions. Universal alloy sewer networks are distinguished by universality, allowing to discharge household and storm drains at the same time. However, due to the fact that they pass a lot of water, pipes with a large cross section are required. Sometimes they use a method in which drains are sent to one collector, but through different pipelines. Thus, the load on the pipes is greatly reduced. It makes sense to apply all of the above methods when there is an insert into the central network. In other cases, a separate external sewage system will be appropriate. To do this, separate collectors with different volumes and throughputs are made.

Outdoor sewage systems
Most often, professional builders are involved in the installation work , but some owners prefer to do all the work on their own. Thanks to this, it is possible to save an impressive amount on wages. First excavation work is carried out. The width of the trench depends on the diameter of the sewer pipes. For example, if you intend to use a pipe with a cross section of 110 mm, then a hole with a width of 600 mm is enough. The depth is determined by the project, based on the characteristics of the site. Next, pipes are successively laid on the sand cushion. They are connected using a rubber seal. At the very last stage, the trench is covered with soil. As a result, an external sewage system should be able to provide high throughput of wastewater.
