After the chain of quests of the guild of thieves in Skyrim is close to completion, the Dragonborn will encounter a rather interesting location called Twilight Tomb. Entrance to it will open after the quest "Return of Twilight", here the player will have to return the relic of the daedric princess Nocturnal to its place, and also enlist its support for the guild and the Order of Soloviev, deprived of the mercy of the patroness after the betrayal of the head.
Brief background and description of the location
The twilight tomb is located west of Folkrit and south of the ridge of the point of the knife. It is located in the Jerol Mountains, the dungeon was intended to test those nightingales who were eager to get the blessing of Nocturnal and plunge into the "fountain of luck", receiving one of its gifts.
There was Skeleton Key right there - a relic of the goddess, a master key with an inexhaustible margin of safety. After the head of the Guild betrayed the goddess and took the key to himself, only Gall remained inside the dungeon. As a ghost, this nightingale continued to serve his goddess, waiting for someone worthy to return to the tomb.
Pilgrim way
When the player is inside, Gall will speak with him and indicate the need to go through the Way of the pilgrim in order to return the key. Tips for passing can be found in the diary of Nystrom, although some features of the dungeon are not hard to guess. There are several stages:
- Fight with the shadows of the former defenders of the Nocturnal. The battle is simple, you can pass it secretly.
- A room in which you can’t stand up to the light and pass through stretch marks is perfect for the candle flame spell and Khajiit night vision.
- Activation of the chains behind the lamps near the statue of Nocturnal.
- The corridor of traps with a detour on the left, you need to open the door with a lock level "master".
- Jump into the portal.
Difficulties can arise only at the stage with traps and spots of light. Just in case, it is better to stock up healing potions.
Nocturnal Award
After the Skeleton Key is returned to its place, the Nocturnal will return the gift of blessing to the guild of thieves, moreover, it favors the Solovev triad. The dragonborn can choose one of the goddess's gifts, namely:
- Month. Invisibility once a day.
- Half moon. A clouding spell of reason, causing enemies to fight with each other.
- Full moon. Vampiric strike once a day.
In addition, in the tomb and the surrounding area there are three textbooks: breaking locks, stealth, enchantment. Not far from the alchemy laboratory there is a lever to the locked room, where the player will be waiting for a chest with a random reward. In Skyrim, secrets come across at every turn, but Twilight Tomb is a truly beautiful and enchanting place.
