Social tourism - a vacation for everyone

Social tourism in our country and a number of other countries of the world is called any type of tourism, which is paid from funds allocated for social needs. Socio-economic tourism is designed to create a low-income part of the population (youth and schoolchildren, the disabled and pensioners) of decent conditions for recreation and travel. Subsidies for this type of tourism can be allocated not only by the state, but also by various funds (state and non-state), as well as various charitable organizations.

The social sphere of tourism and its components

In the system of social tourism with the aim of organizing leisure for the poor, both individuals and legal entities can take part in the creation and implementation of tourism services, as well as related activities related to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens.

Social tourism involves the participation of social tourists, that is, individuals who need a certain product. This category of population includes, first of all, schoolchildren, pensioners and people with disabilities, in some countries - civil servants, people on military service and even clergy.

Active participants in the process of organizing tourism in the social sphere are many enterprises - hotels, hotels, restaurants, some companies involved in the transportation and accommodation of tourists. This is expressed in the fact that children and youth (under the age of 24 years) receive certain discounts on transportation, accommodation and meals.

Types of social type of tourism

Social tourism can be carried out in several directions, each of which is most suitable for a certain group of users. These directions are determined by the needs of tourists, their interests and preferences.

Tourism for recreation is a journey (long or short), the purpose of which is the psychological and physical recovery of the body. This is a spa vacation, designed to restore strength and treatment, which uses certain properties of nature - microclimate, soil and sea water.

Cultural tourism - rest for the study of culture, which can be informative or pilgrimage. The first type involves visiting various attractions - cultural, historical or geographical. As for the pilgrimage, this tourism is aimed at visiting places with special religious significance.

Public or club tourism - a trip whose purpose is to visit friends or relatives in different cities (countries). In addition, club social tourism involves the unification of tourists in certain interest groups - sports or entertainment.

Sports tourism is active and incredibly useful. It is best suited for students, as it implies participation in sporting events or (as a more relaxed form) the passive nature of such participation.

Economic tourism - travel for commercial purposes, involving visits to events such as exhibitions, exchanges, as well as shops and fairs.

Rest may be:

- standard, which includes a full range of tourist services;

- individual, organized by the tourist himself.

The second form of tourism is most convenient, since with it travelers can independently develop, organize and carry out just such a vacation that is suitable specifically for them. The name "individual" social tourism does not mean at all that a person will go on a journey alone - you can travel with the whole family. This is very convenient, since the best rest is one in which a person rests not only with his body, but also with his soul.
