Project

The logs are interconnected by a simple method called the “cup”: marking is carried out in the lower part of the wood, and grooves are marked with a special tool. A recess is cut down with an ax or a chainsaw and a log is inserted.

To build a bath from a 4x6 beam, it is necessary to perform a slight slope of 3-4 ° when constructing the floor to remove water.
The walls of the building are folded in a certain order: the crowns are horizontally aligned and fastened with steel pins or wooden pins. The second option is preferable, as the material is sold ready to use.
Joints of logs are insulated with jute or tow. In the old days they used moss.
After the construction of the walls, the beams of the ceiling and rafters are laid to the desired height. The design is left until the shrinkage of the beam - about a year. At the end of the shrinkage, caulking, installation of doors and windows, and roof construction are carried out.
