Cullets for painting have a high degree of fire resistance, in addition, they are easy to install, resistant to deformation and elastic. Fiberglass is a waterproof, durable and chemically neutral material. Wallpaper made of it can withstand frequent brushing. They also have a high density, which allows them to close small cracks in the plaster.

Previously, these materials were used only in public places. Now they are used in apartments and private houses, as there are different textures, weave. They can be pasted over any surface, even doors, drawers and furniture.

Cullets for painting are divided into 2 grades:
- 1 grade. They differ in uniform density and the absence of nodular fiber connections.
- 2 grade. They are made from low quality raw materials, creases and bumps can be found on the surface. Such coatings are cheaper than the first grade wallpaper.
"How to glue the cullet for painting?" - you ask. The technology is simple. First, the wall is coated with a neutral latex primer. Special glue is applied to the wall, not to the wallpaper. The process of sticker itself is identical to pasting with ordinary wallpaper. A few recommendations:
- Cullets are cut into canvases, leaving 5 centimeters to align the picture;
- Wallpapering is done using the “butt” method, drawing and front sides are combined;
- Surplus is cut off.
The surface of the glass before painting is primed with diluted glue. Staining itself can be carried out in two ways:
- Normal application. They are painted with dispersion paint in a thick layer, which will be the primer for the upper color.
- Application of paint using special tools. They are painted with a squeegee or shading devices. 2 types of paint are used with a slight difference in shades. The bottom layer is acrylic paint, the top is azure.
The most famous coatings of this type are Wellton cullets. They are made of wear-resistant material and are easy to paint. But there are many other great brands.
