Since there is no difference in the two series of Pokemon Leaf Green, Pokemons Fire Red, the plot is the same for both games. At the beginning of the journey, you yourself choose the gender and name of the character and transfer to his hometown of Pallet. You will meet a professor who will tell you that wild Pokémon are hiding in high thickets of grass.
You follow the professor, and he introduces you to his grandson. It turns out that this particular boy will become your main rival, as he dreams of being a coach of amazing creatures. The professor gives the boys one Pokemon, and they begin to fight. Now such battles will take place throughout the game.
Boring adventures
After some time, you will have a mission to help the professor. After that, you will receive the famous Pokedex as a reward. This is an electronic encyclopedia that stores all the information about each Pokemon. But to fill out this “book”, you need to catch each creature separately. The professor asks the protagonist to collect all the existing information about each Pokemon and get the best and most complete collection.
In addition to collecting creatures, the player will visit the stadiums and fight with the leaders. Among them there are very experienced and strong coaches who are not easy to beat. Winning, you get significant medals. There are only 8 of them. Having collected everything, you can go to conquer the Pokémon League, and then the Elite Four.
In addition to the main line, you can also fight with a criminal organization that steals rare creatures for your boss. You will meet them when you discover the loss of one of the members of the Elite Four. You will have to find Lorelei. This journey will lead you to the islands of Sevia, where you need to fight with the criminal team and find two important artifacts.
How to play?
Games Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green, the passage of which is easy enough for beginners, also have uncomplicated gameplay. The whole process is divided into three zones. In the first screen there is a virtual world that the hero travels in, in the second screen there is a menu where you can select items, organize all Pokémon and customize the game, on the third screen there is a battle. If the hero met a wild Pokemon, or if another coach called him, a battlefield appears.
The fight goes step by step, so there may be a variety. In addition to teams for Pokemon, you can call on another, use artifacts, or even escape from the battle. But the latter can only be done in a battle with a wild creature, but with trainers this will not work. It’s necessary to survive to the end, and there either accept defeat or reap laurels.
If during the battle your Pokemon is noticeably weakened, then it can not be used, but you need to send it for recovery. If the "baby" won the battle for you, he gains experience. So his level and strength grows. New abilities appear, and old ones improve. There is a type of Pokemon that evolves with growth, turning into a new form.
Catch and hold
As in the new Pokemon Go toy, in old versions it was necessary to catch creatures wisely. If you joined the battle with wild Pokemon, you can catch it, if you are fighting against the creature of the trainer, then this function is not available.
So, you need to catch creatures in pokeball. This device has the shape of a ball and can "clog" any size Pokemon. If after the battle the wild creature has little health left, and you caught it in pokeball, then it goes to your collection.

In general, a remake of the popular game turned out well. Although the Pokemon Leaf Green (rus) version is not available, Russian users will easily understand the English version as well.
Due to the fact that 8 years have passed since the first parts were released, the developers noticeably improved the game interface and graphics. There was a gameplay instruction. It is possible to remember the last 4 actions before saving. There was also the opportunity to reunite with gamers from the third generation of games and exchange Pokémon with them.
