Growing vegetables in a greenhouse or in a greenhouse on a suburban area will allow enriching the family diet with vitamins already in early spring, maintain it up to the autumn colds and make it possible to make winter supplies.

Greenhouse cucumber care practically does not differ from agricultural technology in greenhouses and open ground. One of the main components of a future rich harvest is the selection of suitable, proven varieties and quality seeds. Before sowing seeds, they need to be soaked for about a day in spring or rain water (can be thawed, and if taken from a tap, it is good to defend). Swollen seeds are sown in pairs in peat pots no deeper than 2 cm, covered with a film on top.

After 25 days, seedlings can be transplanted into a greenhouse or greenhouse. Earth must have since

Autumn after harvesting and plant waste to be disinfected with bleach. The solution is prepared as follows: 40 g of lime is dissolved in 12 liters of water, allowed to infuse for 2 hours and filtered. In spring, the soil must be shed with a solution of potassium permanganate (3 g per 10 liters of water). For central Russia, the optimal time for transplanting to the greenhouse is after the first decade of May, and a month later to the garden.

To simplify the care of cucumbers, the width of the ridge should be done no more than 60 cm, and it is better to plant the plants in one row. As it grows, a plant is formed by pinching the side shoots at the bottom of the main vine, and pinching it when it touches the upper trellis. Make a pinch after the third sheet after the last fruit. This technique is guaranteed to increase future crops. Further care for cucumbers consists in maintaining a balance between temperature and humidity and maintaining the appropriate microclimate.

When the plants bloom, the greenhouse must be aired (especially on sunny days). But ventilation should be carried out carefully, eliminating drafts: cucumbers do not like this very much and can stop growing. Watering during this period should be increased in volume to 5 liters (necessarily warm water). Watering is better when the heat of the day subsides.

Cold water can provoke a formidable disease - root rot. When grown outdoors, the disease can appear in the cold rainy summer. Care for cucumbers during the disease consists in accurately polluting the roots and the root part of the stem with a special mixture. To cook it, you need to add 1 cup of copper sulfate and 2 kg of lime to 6 kg of wood ash, mix well. After pollination, the roots should be sprinkled with fresh, fertile soil.

It is necessary to feed the plants twice a month with a mullein solution diluted 10 times. Between organic crusts, mineral fertilizers can also be added . Harvest fruits should be every day or every other day. This provides an incentive for the maturation of the rest. If the care of the cucumbers was correct, then you definitely can’t stay without a crop, and a fresh salad to the coldest or a salty crisp cucumber for potatoes in the winter will be provided!
