Artyom Borovik park in Moscow invites you for a walk!

In 2000, a new green recreation area appeared in Moscow. This is the park of Artem Borovik, the official grand opening of which took place on September 13, 2001. The recreation area got its name in honor of a Russian journalist, writer and public figure who tragically died in a plane crash.

Photo and description of the park

The green zone was created in the center of a large circular motion. The park named after Artyom Borovik is relatively small, its area is only about 10.4 hectares. Thanks to a comprehensive restriction, the road recreation area has the shape of a perfectly regular circle. The central attraction of the park is a memorial monument in the form of a feather. The memorial sign is made of granite, the inscription on it reads: "Artem Borovik Park."

On the territory of the recreation area there are pedestrian and bicycle paths, benches for relaxation, sports and playgrounds. Game towns for children are divided into different age zones: from 1 to 3 years old, from 3 to 7 years old and older than 7 years. Thanks to such zoning, each mother immediately understands which platform should bring the baby to play with peers.

Good news for those who do not part with their favorite smartphone even on vacation: the park has Wi-Fi, free for all vacationers.

Skating rink and other paid services

In the recreation area there are cafes and sports equipment rental all year round. In the summer, you can rent bicycles, roller skates, tennis rackets.

You can visit the rink for free in the first half of weekdays. After 16:00 the entrance ticket to the ice arena costs 150 rubles for adults and 50 rubles for children (prices are valid from Monday to Friday inclusive). On holidays and weekends, the cost of a ticket to the rink is 250 rubles for adult visitors and 100 rubles for children. Skate rental is a separate service, the price of one pair is 150 rubles.

In the winter season, in the recreation area you can also borrow skis, clubs and protection for playing hockey for temporary use.
