The player’s record was almost immediately deleted, and similar deletion messages came to his subsequent posting of questions. Then he received a short notification from the user Herobrin, in which there was only a short word "stop." After that, the story ends. The player did not find an explanation of how an unauthorized user without a name got into a single player game and where he just as quickly disappeared. This story gained a lot of fans, new people appeared who reported that they also saw an incomprehensible "man in the fog", and caused such a "boom" that the forum moderators had to contact Persson directly. They wanted to find out if the so-called Herobrine was a hidden addition to the game, the Easter Egg of developers with the goal of scaring ordinary users a little, which Notch answered in the negative, dispelling the myth of Herobrin's existence. However, many users decided to gain popularity thanks to the Minecraft game, scary stories about Herobrin became their hallmark. They began to write new versions, one way or another connected with Herobrin in order to attract more audiences to their creations.
The terrible story of three friends
