The location of the Hoba Cave and related quests
To find the Hob’s cave, you need to go southeast of Dunstar or move to Hoarfrost lighthouse and turn northeast.
Necromancers and their servants settled in the cave itself. Passing through the tunnels covered with ice, the player will find a bridge over a deep pit. If, after passing through the cave, you go down into this pit, then you can find an alchemical table and other useful objects, among which is the Barenziah stone lying on the lower shelf of the buffet, and the book "Exodus" located in the table.
In the Hob’s cave in Skyrim, the player can lead the quest Drowned Mountain. At the entrance will be the body of Isabelle Rolen, on which is a letter addressed to Ranmir.
Having reached the end of the zone, you can find a laboratory of necromancers, where they hid their treasures and hold prisoners. You need to kill all the necromancers and pick up the reward from the chest. Among other things, a flute will lie in the chest - an item needed to complete the Panthei Flute mission. You can try to save a captive named Larina, quickly destroying all the necromancers, but the remaining captives are initially dead and can be used by magicians to attack the player.
Secrets and bugs
Thanks to the Panthei Flute quest, you can find out that Larina is a Panthei student who stole the flute. But even if you save the student from necromancers, she will not talk to the player and will not react at all to what happened. Most likely, the developers did not foresee the possibility of such a development of events.
Once in the hall with a pentagram of souls, you can notice a closed grate. It opens with a chain on the right.
After passing the entire Hob’s cave in Skyrim, a player can jump down from the ledge to leave the location in the shortest possible way. However, if the character has a satellite, then he will remain at the top, and he will have to return after him.
