DIY New Year's topiary: decorate with "cones of happiness" cones
To make the craft, you will need the following materials and tools: plasticine, foil, twig or stick, newspaper,
glue gun and
PVA glue, wrapping paper, tinsel, small pine cones, bow, shiny acrylic paint, a glass with thick walls with a capacity of 100 ml.
We begin the manufacture of New Year's topiary with the design of a glass. She will serve as a pot for our tree. We wrap the glass with beautiful wrapping paper, fixing it with glue. We fill the half of the container with plasticine, and lay a layer of tinsel on top. Now we make a tree trunk: we cover a branch with acrylic paint and leave to dry. We form a ball of arbitrary shape from foil. Do not crush the foil too tight, otherwise the crown of the topiary will be too heavy. We paste over the foil with a newspaper and apply the desired color to the blank. After the paint dries, we make a small hole in the ball and put it on the barrel, which, in turn, is placed in an already decorated pot. Do-it-yourself New Year's topiary: decorate the tree of happiness with Christmas balls
In order to create a festive topiary with Christmas balls, you will need such tools and materials:
- foam newspaper or ball;
- threads
- acrylic paint;
- Christmas balls (it is desirable that they be of different sizes, colors, textures);
- stick or twig for the trunk;
- a small pot of ceramics;
- glue;
- gypsum;
- glue gun;
- decorative elements: beads, spruce branches, tinsel, sparkles.
First we make a ball of newspapers, and then wrap it with thread, Now we insert a branch into it, fixing it with glue. It is necessary to paint the ball in the desired color with acrylic paints. The turn of Christmas balls has come - we glue them to the ball of the topiary with a glue gun. Next, proceed to the design of the pot. We make a gypsum mortar and pour it into a ceramic container. Once the gypsum has set, you must insert a tree trunk into it . After this, you need to wait until the gypsum is completely dry.
