Brand history
Paco Raban (née Francisco Rabaneda y Cuervo) was born in Basque Country (Spain) in 1934. After the death of his father, when Paco was 5 years old, the family moved to Paris. Mother began working with the then-famous designer Cristobal Balenciaga, which brought the boy closer to the fashion world.
At 18, Paco Raban entered the National School of Art at the Department of Architecture. In order to pay for his studies, he began to come up with and develop jewelry and various little things for Balenciaga. A little later, he began working with such venerable idols of fashionistas as Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy, making bags, belts and other accessories for them.
His products using modern and unusual materials (for example, high-quality plastic) attracted more and more attention of young buyers. Over time, Raban began to create clothes, and already in 1965, his first costumes were sold in thousands of copies. In the same year, the fashion designer changed his name to Paco Raban. And in 1966 the first collection was already presented to the fashion world, consisting of 12 models made of modern materials: metal, plastic, paper. This unusual design decision stirred up the fashion world, and the collection did not go unnoticed by critics or the international press.
Perfume creation
The first perfumes of Paco Raban were released in 1969. They were called Calandre and related to feminine scents.
A little later, the first Pour Homme men's perfumes from Paco Raban came out with mixed notes of flowers and wood, thus turning the perfume world upside down.

Since the first perfumes were enchanting success and popularity, the master did not stop there, and in 1979 new amazing female perfumes called Metal were released. An unusual combination of flower chypre with a slightly bitter basil and hyacinth beginning and a soft opening with a metallic taste in the end was created for young and bright women who are in love with life and do not hide it. A little later, this eau de toilette was continued in Eau de Metal, the composition of which was more gentle, but no less sonorous.
The birth of a new intriguing aroma did not make the public wait: in 1985 a new perfume “Paco Raban” was presented - La Nuit women's perfumes for passionate and sensual ladies. Perfumes that give beauty and attractiveness consist of floral tones of roses and jasmine, diluted with the sweetness of white honey and peach. Exotic add notes of pepper, patchouli, and in the end - notes of oak moss. This fragrance has not lost its uniqueness to this day.
The designer did not go around creating unisex fragrances suitable for both men and women. In 1995, Paco and a bit later Paco Energy were released. These fragrances are intended for young, energetic and stylish people of the modern metropolis. They carry the freshness of citrus fruits, notes of bergamot and coriander, lavender, musk and sandalwood.
