Laying tiles at ACEID

Professionals advise pre-priming the base, and then lay the tile on slightly dried glue.
It is important to note that the coefficient of linear expansion of ACEIDA differs from this value inherent in ceramic tiles. When a temperature difference occurs, even within small limits, these materials will expand in different ways. Therefore, sometimes the tile can peel off. If large temperature differences occur, then the products will become detached along with the solution or glue. However, in the first case, the solution or adhesive mass remains on the surface.
As an alternative solution, sometimes a moisture-resistant plasterboard sheet is laid on the surface of the ACEIDA, the seams between the sheets of which are rubbed with a moisture-resistant grout. In this case, the technology of laying tiles will be as follows. First you need to prepare the necessary tools, among them:
- spatulas;
- level;
- drill;
- glue;
- brush;
- tile cutter;
- crosses.
You need to purchase two spatulas, one of which will have a flat and the other a ribbed surface. In the next step, the base is prepared, and a laying pattern is selected. Do not rush into the preparation of glue, if necessary, shut it immediately before starting work on laying.
The next step will be the installation of tiles, and at the final stage, the seams are overwritten. Laying tiles on the aceite sheet is carried out quite often, but in this case, you may encounter peeling of products from the surface after a certain time. In order to eliminate such unpleasant consequences, it is best to use gypsum plasterboard on top of the ACEIDA, which is primed and then left to dry completely. The mixture must be applied in 2 layers.
Is ACEID harmful
Aceitic leaf, the harmfulness of which has not yet been confirmed, is used everywhere today. There is a claim that the ingredients in this material are harmful to human health. If you follow Western standards, then there has long been abandoned such production, as it is read dangerous to human health. While domestic manufacturers do not agree with this, they release ACEID and consider it a promising material.
