What does the word "depravity" mean?
In ancient Russia, people with their own point of view, leading an immoral lifestyle, were censured. Thus, others expressed their disapproval and condemnation of the actions of the condemned.
Depravity is the actions condemned by society or non-compliance with generally accepted moral principles. Most often, the commandments set forth in the Bible were taken as a measure. The main passions were considered: gluttony, adultery, greed, anger, pride, vanity, despondency.

Most often, receiving a “street” education, people from such places are forced to work hard to break into the higher level of the social ladder.
The most commonly understood concept is sexual perversity. This is something that is not talked about openly, that they try to hide from others. It is impossible to say whether it is right to consider the desire to diversify your intimate life as perversity. Someone considers liberated behavior in the matrimonial bedroom as depravity and immoral behavior, and someone - the norm.
New World - New Vices
The modern world with the development of technology, in addition to the basic concept of depravity, has received an additional new meaning of the word. Surprising is the fact that this concept is used in medical practice, where vice is an abnormal deviation from a certain norm of development of vital organs and systems.
Well-known is the phrase "heart disease." This is precisely the case when the concept of vice receives the opposite to the "classical" meaning. Cardiologists divide the defects of the main organ into congenital, incompatible with life and congenital, but operable.
Depravity is that which at different times had a different framework. What was commonplace in ancient Rome and Greece was reproached and hidden in medieval Europe.
