The population of the USSR and Russia - whose life is better?

After the death of I.V. Stalin in his name was poured a huge amount of dirt. The great man was accused of mass executions and atrocities, the imagination of the accusers reached fantastic figures of 45-60 million people.

USSR population in 1941
The population of the USSR in 1939 amounted to 133 million people, if even 30 million repressed were subtracted from this figure, it turns out that 15-year-old schoolchildren had to oppose Nazi Germany. Since the rest of the population should have been shot by then, it was precisely in 1937-1939 that the peak of repression fell. The population of the USSR in 1941 was already approaching 200 million people. Pondering these figures, one is simply amazed at the blatant lie that rushes upon us. It seems that people just want to distract from modern realities. Just compare the statistics, which will impartially put everything in its place.

The population of the USSR under Stalin grew by almost 70 million people, from 136.8 million in 1920 to 208.8 in 1959. If we consider the number of the RSFSR alone, the population growth was 18.9 million, over 30 years 1923 to 1953, which is about 22%. Over the entire period of the existence of the Russian Federation, the population decline, taking into account unborn children, amounted to 31.3 million people. The question naturally arises: was the population of the USSR under Stalin really subjected to such terrible violence and destruction?

USSR population
Mortality under Stalin fell almost three times from 2.91% according to 1913 to 1.1% in 1950. The birth rate in the same year decreased slightly, but the consequences of the Great Patriotic War are already reflected here. Be that as it may, by 1956 the population of the USSR was growing, and its natural increase exceeded that in all other developed countries, including the USA, France, and many others. The decrease in mortality also affected the increase in life expectancy up to 70 years, which on average coincides with the indicators in Europe of the same period.

The consumption of pure alcohol per capita under Stalin was only 1.9 liters, compared to modern 20-25 liters. The population of the USSR was sober and gave healthy offspring. Modern Russia is the world leader in child addiction. In the Union, prostitution was completely eradicated; any manifestations of it were immediately suppressed. The Russian Federation occupies a leading position not only in the field of venal love, but also in the scale of child prostitution.

USSR population 1939
In 1945, after the war, in the USSR there were about 678,000 orphans, in modern Russia their number is 850,000, and about 760,000 are children abandoned by their parents.

During the leadership of Putin-Medvedev, the number of oligarchs has grown by almost seven times, from 8 to 53 people. The total amount of their fortune is estimated at 282 billion US dollars. According to a study conducted by the Russian Academy of Sciences, 15% of Russia's population possesses 85% of all savings and about 92% of property income. In the hands of a relatively small group of the population (0.001% of all residents of the country) is about 50% of all natural resources. Under Stalin, the national property belonged to the people, most of the services provided to the population by the state were either free or cost a penny. Current housing bills amaze even the president, not to mention ordinary people.

Just a few figures to compare what happened with the tyrant, usurper and murderer, and what happened in a flourishing democratic country. What time would you like to live?
